Gotham is going to be on Fox and Constantine is going to be on NBC.

People are kind of mistaken about the "rights." WB Television often sells their shows to other networks since CW is not that big. For instance, Fringe was owned/produced by WB television but was distributed by Fox. In addition, Big Bang Theory is also owned/produced by WB, but is distributed by CBS. This is why Big Bang Theory seems to show more DC stuff than Marvel stuff.

The biggest example is Batman TAS originally airing on Fox but was still produced by WB animation.

In other words, DC/Warner Bros. still have the first and final say as to which characters to use and how they are portrayed. It is an entirely different structure from how Fox has the rights for X-Men and how Sony has the rights to Spider-Man.

However, as far as something akin to a Bat-embargo, I see them blocking off most of the major and iconic "street crime" villains (which rules out Ra's for Gotham) and also blocking off some of the Gotham PD characters. I think Nightwing may still be open game.

Oliver told him to go to the hospital and keep an eye on Laurel and Dinah. That's where Dinah was kidnapped from.

Ah right, did they show any of that at all? I just don't recall seeing Roy in the last ep.

No. They just showed Dinah getting abducting and thrown into the van.

And because that scene got cut Roy wasn't in the episode at all.

It's a shame the scene was cut. Fights cost more to make; both in time and money, thanks to the need for choreography, stunt work, etc. For it to be cut = resources wasted that could've been used in other episodes.

It's FOX, and the president said they own all the rights to the whole Batman license (or as he put it, "universe"). Doesn't mean they can't be outsourced, though, considering some Batman characters are not exclusive to his world (Deadshot, for example)

I don't know why they blacklisted Merlyn for destroying the Glades. That seemed like a distinctly League of Assassins type scheme.

Perhaps the code was broken in that he only targeted one part of the society of Starling instead of the entire thing.

Well do we actually believe Moira? Seems like she would just say something like that just to scare Merlyn back into hiding.

But for all we know Ra's could have just been ticked off that Merlyn didn't do a proper job or it was Ra's plan to take out Starling City all along.

That I could see. That Ra's had a plan, but Malcolm ****ed with that plan.
