My favorite movies are T2 and TDK. So much for my taste. :whatever:

Terminator, I'm starting to think you have connections with the production or something - to so wholeheartedly defend something which looks so awful, you must have a vested interest, surely..................

Maybe I'm not one for overreacting. Don't let me stop the circle jerk, though. You guys keep beating until the film actually comes out.

I have to say, I'm once again disappointed in what they did with Vega.

After making him ugly, dressing him like some street Ninja, I expected they'd at least make him a silent assassin. But no, they had to turn him into some kind of man-beast. I didn't know it was possible to **** a character up this bad.

Dude has Vega ever been silent? I remember when I saw his episode of Street Fighter II V, I was creeped out. Putting a spell on Chun-Li and sneaking into her hotel room when she was sleeping. Ken sure did kick his ass though. :wow:

The fight in the movie should have a similar ending. Well..maybe not as much blood or a chandelier.

Hearing Taboo, I prefer Vega to be a mute. Sure, Vega talks, but he never growled with every strike or move. Watch the animated fight. He barely let out a peep, only when Chun Li was down he took off his mask and talked.

It also adds more of a creepy factor if you have an assassin coming completely silent after you.

Vega is such a humongous let down. seeing his character degraded like that is worse than being forced to watch the Resident Evil trilogy back to back...

...and that's coming from a Black Eyed Peas fan.

Yeah, he's playing the craziness a bit too much. More accent less Cloverfield.

Resident Evil trilogy? Man, you guys really aim big with your insults.

Let me try..Kristin Kreuk is as gorgeous as..See I can't do it, I'm too nice. :csad:

I want to know what the director was doing during filming. Was it how he envisioned Vega? Or did he just not know a thing about the characters and told the actors "Just do your thing."?

I would think it'd be simple to give the actors some directions. Like "Taboo, for that scene, I want you to be silent."

Never thought I'd ever be typing these words, but all of a sudden - Jay Tavare's Vega in the 94 SF movie doesnt seem so bad.

You think this is bad, you should go to the 'Ryan Reynolds/Deadpool' thread on the Wolverine board.

You got it mild on here, Terminator.

:D

funny..Jay Tavare is actually from a mixed background, mostly Native American with a dash of Spanish. I had no idea!

The middle pic looks amazing. He has the body, the mask, even though not a quality design, actually looks like from the game and they pulled the costume off without it looking like cosplay.

He has everything. From the ponytail, to the tattoo, even the torero pants. And even though he didn't look like pretty boy Vega, he was actually not bad looking. And he definitely sounded better than Taboo.
