The fact that the Turtles don't, or didn't have, nostrils or lips was glared over in the Jim Henson 90s films, but I don't see how it can in this day in age.

its just drawing abstracts thats the whole point. having them in the ''real'' world they would have nostrils and ''lips'' but

Ok, the one on the right looks more reptilian because it has texture on it. But once you see the current one with texture on it, it will look more reptilian as well so then your point will be moot, void and pointless..

I think you're missing the point that they may be going for a human element and humans have lips. It's a mixture of turtles and humans.

I could forgive all that's implied here except the chin. Is that weird? I dont want chins on my ninja turtles. I wouldnt have gone with the clothes either, but otherwise they'd have to depend on dalogues and characterization to pin a personality on them.

I don't know, I try really to not let facial features bother me too much. I just wanna see the other turtles
