I'm actually fine with this. It's at Fox who've truly become the film maker's studio. Though I think James Mangold should be directing.

spiderman just needs to disappear from existence.

If he doesn't use Shark Repellent in Justice Leauge I will be thoroughly disappointed.

Eh, let's see how the next X-Men film turns out before we start throwing around such strong words.

spiderman just needs to disappear from existence.

That's like expecting DC to just drop Batman. Will just never happen, too much money to be made.

Anyone wanna take bets on how long before actual superhero fatigue sets in and we get the studios doing crossover films and/or the Amalgam universe on the big screen? I say it happens before I hit 60 so less than 30 years.

If comic books can last for decades then so can superhero films.

50 more years i say.

I think Marvel, and by extension DC learned a valuable lesson from Marvel's 90's bankruptcy. I recall at one point Feige saying they wanted to ramp it up to 4 MCU films a year which I think is a bad idea. Still hasn't happened though.

But if the movies are good there is a plethora of stories to adapt. The JL teasers I saw yesterday looked damn good so if quality films are cranked out by the studios it should be a long time be fore the bubble bursts.

Yep, quality over quantity should be the main focus for both studios.

I was at a used book store and I bought this for seven dollars.

Let's also remember Fox doesn't ONLY concentrate on childish comic book films. Which Marvel Studios only has to do.

Its true that the cbm markets doing remarkably well now, especially the MCU, however at the rate cbm films are getting released we might start having 10 or 11 superhero films a year.

Although that's an issue for decades from now, rather than the now.

Now things are looking smooth AF for the cbm genre.

I hope it lasts a while longer or my books won't sell. :p

My biggest concern with JL is that Darkseid or Steppenwolf will end up as either Doomsday 2 or written like the Darkseid from Justice League: Origins/

Ciarán Hinds was cast as Steppenwolf so I doubt they will have him act like the mute brute from Justice League: Origins.
