A temp banned member's User Title says "I will return shortly". DS's says "Banned User" so he seems to be permabanned.

When was DS previously banned?

He had another account back in the day that got banned and then came back with this current account. It was almost exactly the same username as well. I'm sure he will pop back up here discreetly again one day

I haven't been on much today to see him. I missed all the excitement. :(
 
So, an acquaintance of mine has offered to buy my Xbox One console & now I've got an opportunity to use the potential cash to buy myself a PS4. #decisions

*Edit: Just checked out Senty's posts and... It was dark and it for sure had the smell of something very bitter and, sorry to say, ugly. I have a feeling he was using... something, when he posted all that stuff, alcohol, weed, something.

Honestly, I didn't start reading their comics until this last time I tried to get back into comics. I read the big events back in the day but don't remember any specific ones that stand out to me. I was really into the X-Men when I was younger, had tons of their comics. I think I read some Spider-Man too. Now that I think of it, I was a bit of a comics poseur I guess since I get into them from the cartoons on Fox back in the day. But I could be wrong, though, one of the side effects of the meds I take for my schizophrenia is it makes my memory kind of crappy. There are some significant events over the years that have stuck with me, but I've had friends from back in the day ask me if I remember certain things and most of the time I have no idea what they are talking about. Also, doesn't help that I was a blackout drinker from a pretty young age

Then let me recommend these if you haven't read them already:

The STREETS OF POISON arc in Captain America. Some great villain vs. villain action with Kingpin and Red Skull clashing as well as Crossbones and Bullseye with Cap in the middle. In fact any issue Ron Lim did the penciling on and Mark Grunewald wrote from that time is fun.

Also ARMOR WARS for Iron Man. Action packed for sure.

For the Odinson, you have to read ANYTHING from Walt Simonson's run.

Avengers? THE SIEGE OF AVENGERS MANSION, which is just awesome. Zemo II bringing it to the team, Herc vs. the Wrecking Crew, Jarvis taking one for the team and Cap getting hit where it hurts. Good stuff.

Brothaman needed to be less idealistic and a bit more mature in terms of approaching life... I will miss him though. He liked a good laugh and fooling around without trying to piss you off too much. That always gets a gold star in my book. Still... His last posts were troubling.
 
Yeah there was some very disturbing things in those last few posts, depressing to the point of being unsettling. I never had anything against him, he wasn't really offensive and he seemed to be pretty amiable in his way, so I'm a little surprised that he's been straight permabanned. I can't imagine he'd have racked up too many infractions or the like. I mean I've seen him go through bouts of melancholy about his book, his dad, his love life...but nothing aggressive until now. Just really weird situation.
