I'd like to see him come back. With young Scott most likely being introduced, it would make a lot of sense to bring Alex back to. They could finally clear up just how he's related to Scott (they said that he and Scott were related back when they promoting FC, they just didn't say how).

Not sure how I would feel seeing a 40 year old Havok in the 1982 timeline Apocalypse movie.

The only way I would be ok with this is if somehow they showed us that Scott was "Havok's" (Till's) son or Uncle. That would, at least, open up the possibility of the real Havok coming into the storyline at some point. Just one more difficult timeline attrocity needed to be dealt with...

Of course, if Till was Scott's father, then that would absolutely kill the Corsair and the Starjammers (a story that, IMO, is akin to The Guardians of the Galaxy).

IMO, they really need to make a decision about this whole Marvel universe. This concept of having these X-movie set in timelines jumping every 10 years is ok and all, but it's really messed with this universe's timeline, making things difficult. For example, I'd love to see Archangel, but that's unlikely. I'd love to see Gambit and Rouge together, but that's unlikely. I'd love to have seen Scott and Alex, along with Polaris, but that's unlikely, etc...

Maybe they could show us flashback where Uncle Havok (Till) brings Scott to the orphanage, but really, why do this? If they want to fix the timeline by making Till's Havok Scott and Alex's Uncle or something then that could easily be done with a reference. Prof. X could just say "I once taught your Uncle" or something...

I guess the real question is what is the payoff to forcing Till into this movie?

Havok was a teenager in the 60's, lets say 20 at most, so that would put him as 40yo Havok in 1983. not a 50's one.

None of the actors will look their movie age, so to expect just one character to look right is pointless

honestly havok could been 18 in FC, i mean xavier and magneto were in their 20s and they still acted like the elders of the group so i can only imagine havok was a teen

as for making him look 40, well there are plenty of tricks, aging tricks have been done for decades, most noticeably the star wars movies

Without any problems Alex parents could make another baby in 1967 in those hippie years. Alex can be 20 years older.
I don't see Till as 37 yo Alex, he would need bulk up.

You're right, Havok would be around 40. Maybe 1-2 years younger or older.

So his range is say 38 to 42.

If the focus of this movie is a teenage to early 20's Scott, Jean and Ororo; then no thank you on a 40 year old Havok.

And yes, if Gambit makes it in he'd have to be somewhere around mid-20's, right? I wouldn't mind that IF it played into the story. For example, just like in the comics, when an older Gambit and a young (at the time), teenaged Storm, met and became friends. This could work.

But just having a mid-20's Gambit in with mid to late teenaged Cyclops, Marvel Girl and Storm; would just not make sense...

Now, with all of these people indicating they want a 20 year old Jean, Ororo and Scott; let me ask you this... Don't you want to see Charles go out and find these three (and maybe Nightcrawler as well) and bring them back to the school to help them develop their powers? Wouldn't it be great to see them in a Beast invented training room?

If yes, then wouldn't mid to late teens make so much more sense since that's when their powers usually develop. Waiting until they are 20 something just makes no sense. Yes, they could have them brought to the school in the early to mid (maybe late) teens and then jump a few years to the future in order to make them 20 something, but that kills the whole school feel, which is such a great thing for the X-Men universe.

No, please give me a mid teen (18 latest) group of Scott, Jean and Ororo, and have Nightcrawler in there as well, since his age will pretty much work (he'd be like 19-20). No thankyou to 40 year old Havok, unless he's a Horseman, but yes please to a mid-20's (older brother relationship) Gambit, as long as his older brother relationship is with Storm.

The issue I have with this is not only don't we know when in the 80s the movie will take place, but Alex's age is never really stated.
We know FC is in 1962, and that his time in DoFP is in 1973.

With how older actors are always cast as teenagers in movies, it would not surprise me if in FC he could have been as young as 15, even if Till and the others looked older. But even if he was 17 it'd be more like this:

FC -17
DoFP - 28
Apocalypse - 35 at the youngest

And honestly, while in modern times actors and models still look amazing thanks to a mix of exercise, diets, and surgeries, we can always count the X-Gene as keeping mutants ages not-distinct.

Christie Brinkley is 60 and she still looks like she could be in her late 30s, Regina Hall is in her 40s and she still looks like she's in her late 20s, etc.
I think we can let Lucas Till, and the other actors get away with playing their characters in the 80s without having to resort to age b.s.

I know what a joke is, but considering how ancy people get on here about the characters ages and are serious with that idea, it's just annoying.

Ans Sabretooth and Wolvie have always been brotherly in the Band of Brothers type of way; they're just rivals now. And again, Wolverine Origins was erased.

As for Mystique and Charles, adopting a friend as a sister isn't really uncommon, as while it's not officially familial, it shows a strong bond between unrelated people. And Mystique's past was always mysterious, adding some backstory didn't hurt.

I wanna see Havok as Scott's much older half-brother (same father, different mothers maybe). Ideally he'd be around 36 while Scott would be 18 - the age difference is not uncommon. I wanna see him with the X-Factor, together with Pietro, Lorna, Rhane, Jamie, Guido. Maybe during the devastation they can intervene as government agents then fail miserably before the X-men arrive.

So Jamie, as in Multipleman, as in the 25 - 35 year old guy we saw in Last Stand. Which would make his date of birth somewhere between 1971 and 1981. So he'd be somewhere between 2 and 12 years old. Now if you try the 'Last Stand has been erased Last Stand and Multipleman could have been born earier in this new timeline' (which many of us have already explained doesn't hold water) he would still need to be born post 1973, so at best he'd be 9 or 10 years old.

In other words...

You can't use Multipleman, a character we've been introduced to, and the First Class Havok, unless you do it in say the 1990's or 2000's and make that Havok very, very old (as compared to the others)!

Sorry, the older brother of Cyclops idea just isn't a good way to go. Just one more way in which this X-movieverse's continuity has been seriously hurt!

You want Havok on X-Factor with Polaris and Jamie and Guido like I do, then you need to somehow have a new Havok character brought in that is the younger brother of Scott, so in say the 2000's a government team could be made that has all of these characters and fits this timeline!

By the way, for reference, if they were to create a younger brother to Scott,who is say a couple of years younger (and they could make 1962 Havok their Uncle) then this is how old each would be in say 2000:

Havok: 30-ish
Polaris: Hasn't been seen in the movies yet (unless she was Pietro's younger sister)
Multpleman: 20-something
Quicksilver: 40-ish
Strong Guy: Hasn't been seen in the movies yet.
Wolfsbane: Hasn't been seen in the movies yet.

If you wanted to use the First Class Havok in a time setting around 2000 then he would be approximately 60 years old or so, give or take a couple of years! That just doesn't work!

not every characters is gonna be used in the 2000s though and to be fair not every comic relationship is gonna be translated on screen, infact some will be created like xavier and mystique

Multipleman could be same age as Cyclops in TLS, so can be teenager in 1983.

But pavlov was talking about an X-Factor movie or tv series that would include Havok as the leader (per canon), with Polaris (per canon) and Multipleman (per canon). Yes, with the inclusion of Havok in the 1962 set First Class, this is difficult at best.

But some, like me, have always wanted to see the younger brother Alex and even the father/leader of the Starjammers. So much of the X-Men hinge around Cyclop's relationships, so if there was something they could fix, this is one that we would want.

Is it likely to happen? Nope, willing to bet not. But doesn't mean we can't dream!

Havok was older in Ultimate and it can be same in movie universe where we have a lot from Ultimate.

^ I believe we have already established that if they wish to maintain the continuity appropriately then they are limited by the fact that Wolverine didn't change the timeline until 1973. Any characters that were born prior would have already been born, and any characters that they would want to have born earlier, even if that shouldn't work, can still only have been born as early as 1974.

So for a character like Multiple Man, who was shown in the movie Last Stand, whether or not Last Stand has been erased, was still a character that was shown. His age, meaning his birth, is somewhat finite, but even if they wanted to go the easy route and say in this new timeline he was born in 1974, then he would still be 30 years different in age between the Havok we met in First Class and what his age could be.

So if they wanted to use a 20 year old Multiple Man with this Havok in an X-Factor movie or tv series, then it would need to take place somewhere around 1995 or so. This Havok would be 60 something years old at that point, and I personally don't want to see a 60 something year old Havok leading some 20 something year old Jamie. That means they can't use this Havok with Multiple Man, whether or not Last Stand has been erased. So either they don't use Havok (which is contrary to the point of this thread) or they have to change him so that he is a relative of a younger Alex/Havok.

Again, not the best option, but it's what they've given us with some of their stupid decisions in this X-Men movieverse!!!!!
