yeah perhaps. the colors look great. besides a couple shots of batman, not really the blue tint most people were expecting. but it all looks great, i think.

Can anybody make a GIF of the Joker Machine Gun scene? Just the machine gun scene, not the "Hit meh!" part.

I notice he walks the way ledger said he would...with a little limp...you can see it in the prologue after he shoots the last guy when walking to get the last bag....I like the way he moves his face during the prologue with the mask on...the way he tilts his head after he shoots the bank manager and when he is about to board the bus and turns around he looks in alot of different directions before he put the grenade in his mouth....this joker looks great

I agree 100%.
The body language is excellent.
He ssslithersss around like a curiousss sssssnake

Correct me if I'm wrong but is that shot of the Joker laughing, him driving the bigrig? I'm guessing that glass in front of him is the windshield, but I could easily be wrong.

In this picture he seems....... a little TOO happy.

I love the way Heath is "performing" in this shot, but I absolutely hate how he looks.

Christ, he barely has any white on him. This is why I hate that make-up idea, he doesn't even look like the Joker when it starts coming off. :(

i know what you mean, crook, but i think within the movie it won't bother you as much. you take a single shot and i can see where it bothers you.

but i think within the movie you'll feel like he is the joker and you'll know he is the joker, so by that time it won't matter how he looks for a single scene, because he IS the joker (and don't worry, i'm pretty confident he'll never be without the make-up completely)

I'm pretty sure he'll absolutely nail the character, I'm not worried about that. But I do consider looks to be pretty damn important as well (apparently more than others on here).

It's not the most important, but just as I don't feel completely pleased if a character looks 100% from the source, and nothing like the character with traits....I'm not completely pleased if the writing is nailed, but the look is half-assed.

i know. i agree. but i like the way he looks in this, so it doesnt bother me. but it would bother me if he looked a way i didnt find similar to the comic. too much of a departure for you is the make-up. i understand.

but i still think even crook will be satisfied with the look (hehe that rhymes) once the movie is out =D

i don't care if he has white on in that scene, it is probably toward the end and we begin to literally see the progression in his plans, we literally see it draining him. he is human after all.

Is that hair the original color from the trailer? That looks completely different from what we've seen.

Looks like Sting after fighting a one hour iron man match. . .

Love what Ledger is doing here though.
hehe. that's silly...sting couldn't wrestle a one hour iron man match =)

just messin...although i've never been a big sting fan =D

awesome. he looks so f-ckin rad in that pic. he looks so rad, that it forced me to use the word "rad" to describe it.

I think it'd look better if you didn't enhance the color and shadows. It just looks too manipped, for some reason.

I was just having some thoughts about the Joker and what happens in TDK. I believe that this movie is apart of the third one to come. One whole movie, it is to be. I do not believe that the Joker will die or get captured, well, maybe for a second, but he will escape in this film. Let me explain. I believe the Joker will get caught up in police custody, thanks to our Dark Knight, who else would capture the Man Who Laughs? But after being captured, he'll be transferred to Arkham. This is the scene in the trailer, I believe when the Joker is in the backseat of the police car and out of the window. I think whoever was driving was corrupt and freed Joker and now they ride off into the next movie.

It is said that Joker's face gets worse and worse throughout the film, this can also be seen when he is in police custody, which makes me believe that its the end of that film.

But who really knows? Just speculating.

That edited image of The Joker above really shows the work that went into covering up Heath Ledger. Amazing, really.
