Shes nothing great or even good, but I'll wait to see what she does.

Which is good, IMO. She’s not anywhere near being a great actress but she has a believable tough-gal look and just seems to fit with what they’re trying to go for with this show. It’s not like she’s really ever ruined anything she was in.

I think she’ll be fine and her character will pretty much fall in line with all of her other roles, the strong and silent-ish type. That’s all I’m expecting from her. Nothing more, nothing less.

Interesting choice of Taika getting the season finale. Sounds like he's probably reigning himself in a lot tonally, won't be as comedic as Ragnarok. I kinda figured he'd get like the "light hearted non-plot-heavy episode in the middle of the season", where you could get away with cutting him loose for a weird little side-adventure.

Cool though, should be interesting to see him get the big plot crescendo.

As for Carano, yeah, they just need to play to her strengths. Something like Deadpool, the woman-of-few-words heavy. It won't matter too much that she's not that great an actor, just don't burden her too much with the emoting.

Yep. So we're dealing with disparate remnants of the OG Empire, before they **** off into the Unknown Regions and do their little rebranding.

Been a period I've been wanting to see on film, all that internal infighting with officers-turned-warlord and stuff. Sounds from the books like not everyone was entirely on board/in the know on Palpatine's posthumous plans, so assumedly there are just random admiral types out there with like a single Star Destroyer under their control, doing their own thing, while a core main group eventually bands together and ****s off into the unknown.

I’m actually curious how they’ll handle a live action formation of the Rebels and the forming of the FO from the remnants of the Empire. I wonder if they’ll any parallels or if I’m just getting ahead of myself,lol

I mean technically, there’s no canon way his pronged rifle works. I’m sure the two tips can form some sort of energy bean ala vibro-blade.

I wanna see some cool hand to hand action but hope they don’t become too “ballet” like the stunts in Kingsman 2. I was his style more of the “raw” side. Make it a brutal looking style since he’s Mandalorian and save the finesse-spininaroni stuff for the Jedi.

LOL Yeah I doubt anyone wants it anywhere near the over-the-top campy tone as Kingsman for this series, It was meant to be a fun comparison joke cause visual of Fett "roping" Skywalker, and cause same actor, and energy lasso and, "Manners maketh Mando" pun, and ...WOW! I really think this is gonna be the 1313/ Underworld show but dealing more with Mandos more than just Bounty Hunters. I'm still holding out hope we get a live action Cad Bane.
