Arrow The Matt Ryan/ John Constantine thread

Realised how much i missed him. Would love if cw could take over the show.

The "Revive Constantine" ship has sailed. If we see the character(s) again, it's going to be through Arrow, Flash, LoT, and/or Vixen.

This.

Constantine won't replace Supernatural. CW passed on Supergirl because half of their shows would be DC related so I doubt they'll replace Supernatural with Constantine. If anything we could get an animated version on CW Seed.

P.S. I wish Constantine would have crossed over with Supernatural or even Preacher, than Arrow. Sorry, not sorry.

I would love Constantine to replace Supernatural. I don't see the problem with another DC show on the CW given their non DC shows are horse ****.

Supernatural's biggest issue for is that the filler episodes have always been the best thing about it in my opinion, and the season long plots continue to get more and more repetitive and dull, I think Constantine would be a good replacement, yeah it's DC, but Constantine isn't a superhero show, it's much closer to Supernatural than it is to Arrow or Flash. That said, probably never gonna happen, shame Constantine didn't even get a full first season.

A Constantine/Supernatural team up would be great. but I think the ratings were high enough that we could get another Arrow or Flash team up with him eventually

This guy needs to be on Legends Of Tomorrow! Never actually watched Constantine, but man was he great in the Arrow.

constantine was amazing .... but IN TRUE CBS\NBC FASHION i wasnt shocked when they cancelled it ....

those stations have zero common sense with franchises like these.
and im praying SUPERGIRL proves me wrong....cus im seeing her dead at the season finale.

I think I'm the only one who thought Ryan was just okay. :oldrazz:

Supernatural reminds me of the X Files in that regard. The mytharc episodes are the worst part of that show as well

For those that were watching the reruns on the El Rey Network....the time they are being shown has been changed to MONDAYS AT 4PM starting TODAY.

I'd love to see Constantine on Legends of Tomorrow. It might actually make the show worth watching. :D

The truth behind the magical chaos that has befallen New York City comes out when the demonic power player Neron casts John Constantine down into the fires of Hell itself, where our occult investigator has no shortage of enemies—including an infernal ex the Hellblazer hoped he’d never see again….

The folks over at Bleeding Cool have heard that the plan for the team-up series is to switch its “casts and missions” each season. As a result, Ryan would play Constantine as a series regular in Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 when it airs in 2017. Keep in mind this is unconfirmed, but if true, this would mean that Constantine would be working with a different team to deal with an unknown threat of global implications. Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 will see Rip Hunter recruiting The Atom, White Canary, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Firestorm (a.k.a. Martin Stein and Jefferson Jackson), Hawkgirl and Hawkman to travel through time to stop

The demonic mogul Neron’s plans come to fruition as New York City becomes a one-stop shop for any and all kinds of magic, open to the public and completely unregulated. But John Constantine is trapped in the one place he hoped he’d never go: the magical realm of Faerie, home to tricksters so skilled that even the Hellblazer can’t bluff his way home in time to save humanity from itself.

Sooooooooo.... The CW seed...

It's quickly becoming a great place for DC TV and movies

The Flash (1990) - Arrowverse
Vixen - Arrowverse
Constantine - Arrowverse
Birds of Prey
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths
Justicle League: Doom

I'd love to see some more on there. Superboy, Swamp Thing, Human Target, Adventures of Superman, Adam West Batman, Wonder Woman, Shazam, maybe some DCAU

Rumours from Bleeding Cool that Ryan may appear in future DCTV/CW shows. It'll depend on the streaming audience for Constantine.

I'll buy future appearances by Matt Ryan, but I don't believe for a second that it will depend on whether people watch Constantine on CW Seed. Most likely they have enough data from his guest appearance to decide whether they want him available as a recurring character. Bringing Constantine onto their streaming service was likely done to support such a decision, not the other way around.
