It's clear even DC wants him and that is better than nothing
Isn't one of their shows on the CW coming to an end? It was either Vampire Diaries or Supernatural. Constantine would be perfect to fill that open slot.
It's Vampire Diaries, but they aren't going to fill its spot with another DC show.
CW has 10 hours of programming to play with in a given week
There has to be a split between Warner shows and CBS shows on the network. It doesn't have to be 50/50 but CBS needs at least 2-3 hours of it per week. The goal is 50/50, though.
Warner shows on CW (fall/spring only):
The Flash
Arrow
iZombie
Supergirl
Legends of Tomorrow
The 100
Supernatural
The Originals
The Vampire Diaries
Riverdale
Frequency
CBS shows on CW:
Reign
Jane the Virgin
Crazy ex-Girlfriend
No Tomorrow
There's no guarantee that it would be a Warner show replacing Vampire Diaries, first off. And even if it were, it's very unlikely that Warner would go for a sixth full-hour DC Comics show.
-CW doesn't have any later timeslots. They get 8:00 and 9:00 PM. Two hours every week night and nothing more. The local affiliates get the rest.
-If CW had wanted the show they could have saved it in the first place. They didn't. It didn't perform well enough on NBC for ANY other network to pick it up.
-There's very little chance that a hypothetical first season of a new Constantine show would be more profitable than another season of a currently running show, eg Originals, Supernatural, iZombie, etc. Much of CW's revenue model relies on high episode counts for syndication, streaming, international sales, DVD/BluRay/digital sales, etc. This is why shows in their third or fifth seasons will be renewed with ratings much lower than new shows.
-Again, very little chance Warner wants to put all their eggs in the DC basket. Six DC shows when there is a theoretical maximum of 7 or 8 Warner shows on the entire network is a massive risk for Warner. And again, in the highly unlikely event that they want another DC show, there are much more high profile candidates that don't already have a recent failure on their resumes like Birds of Prey, Superman, Martian Manhunter, etc.

About time.
Now I just need them to release a compilation of all the Arrowverse web series (Vixen, Blood Rush, Chronicles of Cisco, the upcoming Ray series, etc) on Blu Ray.
Wow, they finally released it in Bluray / DVD format, was not expecting it, Nice.
Is Constantine also available on Netflix ?
