Interesting point. I mean, Hillary keeps saying she's winning the popular vote, and people are believing her. So anything's possible.

Lets talk about this so called "issue" with McCain's age. There are alot of reasons not to vote for McCain but in my opinion his age isn't one of them. McCain's age has never been a problem for me. If the news hadn't told me he would be the oldest President ever elected I never would have known.

Now his medical records is another story. I find it interesting how he released his medical records today. In 2000 McCain released over 1500 pages of his medical records with no restrictions to reporters. Reporters could even talk to his doctor, but today he only released 1,173 pages of his medical records that span from 2000 to 2008. Only a few hand picked pool reporters where allowed to read them, I don't think any of them was medical reporters. They was not allowed to make copies and they could only see them for a short time.

I think age is one of the most valid reasons not to vote for him. The presidency ages folks due to the amount of stress they are under. Look at Clinton, for example. He went from being young and brown-haired, to white-haired and unhealthy in eight years. Bush went from having a young face, salt-and-pepper hair to being wrinkled and gray haired. You can tell just looking at the "before inauguration" to "after the presidency" photos of these folks that the job ages them.

McCain was tortured for five years in Vietnam. He can barely lift his arms above his shoulders. I've seen him walk in the Capitol Building-- he's not that swift, to be honest. I can't see how he'll make it past a full term in office.

His age is just another piece in a string of things.

my problem with his age isn't about his health. my problem with his age is that it prevents him from understanding the youth of America. anyone will tell you that today's children is tomorrow's future and the Grand OLD Party simply doesn't understand that.

You could make the argument his age is an asset then and that the youth of America doesn't understand the experience or wisdom that older generation learned decades ago and the disconnect between young and old is typical generation wave.

exactly. just because a person is old doesn't necessarily mean they're wise. McCain might be experienced, but that doesn't mean anything if you don't have any power.

It's funny that the day that article was posted, McCain rejected Parsley's endorsement as well.

Regardless of what you may say, McCain has played it smart in getting rid of Hagee and Parsley before they became issues for his campaign like Wright did to Obama's.

You are correct. McCain handled this situation perfectly, whereas Obama was too hesitant to do anything. Obama stalled and refused to admit he was wrong in hiring Wright, and that severely damaged his reputation.

I find it quite amusing that McCain is talking about "right change and wrong change," about "looking forward and looking back" like he's the one that can change this country and that his administration would be a forward thinking one.

McCain differs greatly from President Bush on a number of issues. Of course they agree on some major issues, but they have butted heads on more than one occasion. I think the point McCain is trying to make is that anyone different from President Bush is, by definition, "change." Now he is asking you to believe that his brand of "change" is better than BO's.
