This makes me want to throw up. :csad:

:lmao: That...was...AWESOME! I feel the Obama campaign could really use this video to destroy McCain in November. They could play it before rallies with a message right after it that says "McCain: The kind of guy out of shape, tone deaf, untalented people with Bizarro World reasons for voting and access to a video camera and too much free time really go for". :hehe:

Thats corny as hell, but its going to be effective. The war will not decide this election. The economy won't decide this election. Its all going to come down to gas prices. When the holiday season rolls around, and Christmas is inching closer by the election and voters realize how much paying what will probably be $4.50 - $5.00 per gallon of gas, they are going to vote on whoever offers them the best solution.

So I'm sitting here reading through McCain's "stance on the issues" and am getting even more concerned. (I pulled all of this from JohnMcCain.com)

He opposes "waiting periods" for gun purchases
He opposes bans on "assault rifles" and/or ammunition
He opposes "Roe v. Wade"
He opposes "fetal farming" or stem cell research
He opposes legislation that would "undermine" the sactity of marriage
He opposes strategic withdraw from Iraq

He believes that "No Child Left Behind" has been successful
He believes that we should stop filling our strategic oil preserves to help reduce demand

He supports the Gas Tax Holiday
He supports allowing home owners to "exchange" their mortgages for home loans
He supports doubling the personal exemption for dependents
He supports tax cuts for american employers
He supports a control of Medicare growth
He supports lowering trade barriers with other countries
He supports the "surge" In Iraq and touts it as an obvious success
He supports a "bolstering of american military posture" toward Iran
He supports Health Savings Accounts (HSA's)
He supports Medical Liability Reform (which would work to eliminate lawsuits directed at doctor's who "follow clinical guidelines")
He supports increasing the size of our military (but doesn't say how that would occur)

I'd vote for Nader before I'd vote for McCain. Yikes.

I've just got this strange feeling that it's going to be Lindsey Graham.

On the plus side, he is a strong advocate for NASA and the space program.

Odd you mention that, because I was watching that Ron Howard documentary the other day and was kind of wondering what both of their positions were on funding for NASA. Any clue if Obama has mentioned anything?

Ugh, that McCain Girls video...yikes.

This, however, awesome:

He hasn't mentioned anything about it that I am aware of. I'm going to do some digging though and see what I can find.

Just to let everyone know, John McCain is at Xavier University today here in SW Ohio for a "town hall for independent voters." He was greeted by protesters and Obama supporters. Many were carrying signs with "Economics for Dummies" on them. :hehe:

After his "town hall" at Xavier he is heading to Carl Lindner's (the owner of the Cincinnati Reds) home for a private fundraiser. Tickets for this event have been selling for $2300 per ticket.
