McCain might be running one of the most pathetic campaigns in history. He keeps flip-flopping on his support for Bush. Earlier this week, he attacked Obama for "being like Bush" and now today McCain is admitting that he does in fact hold a similar outlook to Bush. So which is it, Johnny Mac? It seems like every time he opens his mouth, he's also opening himself up to easy political shots from the Obama campaign.

Anyone see McCain's latest apperance on Meet the Press? Brokaw asked him if he agreed with Rush Limbaugh for saying the Powell endorsement was about race. McCain responded, "No... I'm disapointed in General Powell...". Shouldn't he have went after Rush there? Wouldn't that have been the proper thing to do? It's been ignored because he forgot the guy's name that endorsed him but I thought that was the stranger part of the answer. Youtube it and you guys will see.

I would say it's not a major problem that he didn't (as he just may not have honestly connected with the implications), except that McCain made a point to say he disputes ALL negative criticisms on Obama (or fellow dems) at the last debate. When you say something like that, ppl are going to hold you to a higher standard when ppl say such things.

That and McCain has been given ample opportunitites to prove that he does dispute it, and rarely does. Like when ppl shouted terrorist, he made a face but never told them it was inappropriate. In this case it probably just didn't dawn on him, but he should understand that his claims about disputing ALL is going to put him under a microscope in many's eyes, and he should try to make a more concious effort to put down things like what you mentioned.

Ehhh. I'm Watching a rally and the crowd broke out in "Use your Brain, Vote McCain".
Sarah Palin: "You Betcha"

Then the crowd broke out in 'I Am Joe".

Jesus.

I am Joe...kind of sounds like they are fighting for the working man...all of them are joe...all of them are working...that red party....you know..that special party comrade...

Haha! They should all use the full name of Joseph, then, because I don't think The Party approves of abbreviations of people's names. :D

Both Obama and McCain are flip-flopping hypocrites, this has been known for months now.

Commie bastard....

Join our cause souvlaki. We have determined that the gop has been infiltrated by Soviet Russia (ya its still around but hidden) The chants "I am Joe the plummer", McCain working for the working man, Palin donating her rich clothing to the poor...wearing all that red.... COMMIES I TELL YA!

This is exactly why I don't want McCain coming into power. He pretends to stand for small government and the free market, when he has little to do with these principles. Then everyone will come out and blame it on these principles. When Obama comes into power we will all know he is for big government the outcomes of his actions will speak for itself.

Wait guys I need your help, I hit a snag comprehending something. If McCain is a maverick against his own party Obama has a tendency to vote with his party...then...Isn't McCain technically very similar to Obama.

Not talking about issues, but use of words.

Joe, you have confused Joe. Joe will now move on and let the other Joes figure out your anti-Joeness.

John McCain on Meet The Press this past sunday (in his usual dismissive smug tone):

'Yeah, Sarah and I disagree on an issue, that's because we're both mav'ricks!'

I can't take it anymore!!!!!!! :cmad::cmad::cmad:

John McCain. Noun. Verb. Mav'rick.

Seems like everyday I see clips of McCain going against something he said in just the last few years. He's like a Bizarro McCain now.

A really old Bizarro McCain. Who's no longer a maverick, but thinks he is, because he keeps saying it aloud. Now, if only he can get people to actually believe it.

You left out POW :o

Palin: What do you want to do tomorrow John? Narf, You Betcha'.
McCain: Same thing we do every day Palin...try to take over the world....I mean try to win the election!

Is it sad that Pinky and the Brain fit Palin and the McCain so perfectly? I mean Pinky destroys Brain's mind control device out of stupidity thus demolishing his attempt to take over the world. Palin destroys a chunk of McCain's campaign thru stupidity thus demolishing his attempt to become president. Both McCain and Brain are grumpy short men. If McCain and Palin lose I demand a sitcom be made of this.
