I think both of them should have been track 4 :P They both come off as somewhat slow and depressing IE: Fade to Black, Sanitarium,One, Unforgiven 1-2 etc... I was honestly expecting Unforgiven 3 to be track 4. I like both of the songs, I do like the piano intro to U3 but I think they should have gone with the original intro for it to at least give it some kind of resemblance to the other two. The Day that Never comes is one of my least favorites.(probably because it was the first single and I wore it out) and the fact that there's not enough lyrics in the song but that's just my opinion.

They've been doing multiple power ballads on each album since Black, I've noticed. I'm not positive about St. Anger, however, since it all seems to be whiney, wannabe power ballads (I couldn't sit through any full song).

wow, before i just lied the album...

but now.

this album ****ing rocks!!!

New album? I'm a n00b to Metallica and Thrash Metal in general :O <-- fixed that for you

Nvm, came out in the 80s lol
Get Kill Em' All, Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, ...And Justice For All, Live ****: Binge and Purge and Garage Inc.

What league is that, the "Make the same album over and over again until metalheads worship you like gods" league? The one AC-DC is in?

Word.

I bought Ace Of Spades after all this stuff about them, & was shocked to hear exactly the same sound coming from every song, & very little vocal range. I sold the Album the next day.

Haven't listened to Metallica for a damn while since the Reload album.

Saw Metallica in concert over the weekend, damn good show. The played a lot of old stuff and Death Magnetic stuff, nothing from Load, Reload or St. Anger. Definitely can still rock with the best of them. The stage is pretty cool too, it's basically in the middle of the venue, Hetfield has mics set up all over the place so he can sing to all sides of the crowd. Some nice pyro (although tame enough to not endanger Hetfield again) and laser light stuff too. The lighting is also all on huge coffins.

Saw Tallica a few months ago in Dublin, going too see them in March in Glasgow.

Brilliant live band :)

Saw them Last night in New Orleans. I couldve gotten floor but didnt and Now Im upset with myself but holy **** was it an amazing show!

does anyone have any extra Tour shirts in a medium size? I would be willing to pay full price plus shipping. They were sold out of all the shirts I wanted with the tour INformation on the back and i can find any anywhere online.

Just bought the new album yesterday and I love it!!!!

I am just very saddened that Metallica is not coming through Pittsburgh on their Death Magnetic tour. Very sad. I really love the new album and haven't seen the band live since about 2003 or 2004. That is a long time without a live Metallica fix. I must find a way!

Pffftt....Anyone who doesn't support illegal pirating of bands that make money off of fans actually buying their CDs in support of their music is LAME! :P *Off to never-never land*

So they get inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame tonight

Newsted played with them too didn't he?

Yeah, he was their bassist from ...And Justice For All all the way up until ReLoad (and S&M). He bailed before St. Anger.

Oh, gotcha. If I remember correctly, Newsted will be inducting them. I don't see why he wouldn't be inducted WITH Metallica, considering he's their longest-tenured bassist.

Yea, He should be inducted with them.. At least give him honors or something.. It's kind of jacked that Trujillo just came in and was on ICON... and now this..

It's nothing against Rob though, hes a bad ass bass player and a really likable person.. It just sucks for Jason.

Yeah, Jason's great and all, but Rob is by far a better bassist. Jason's popularity, whether my fellow die-hards will admit it or not, came due to his stage presence. He had a phenomenal back-up voice and insane charisma, but his bass playing wasn't exactly the greatest follow-up to Cliff. Don't get me wrong, I love Jason's playing, he just often left something to be desired, following Cliff.
