You are not wrong to be excited by violent sex. That's a preference. Here's the thing: you posted pictures of women who were being hurt or had been hurt-- that's an action. It's distasteful to a lot of people, and advertising that kind of preference can be disturbing to others.

I won't say that making the thread the way you did (with the pictures) was wrong, but it's the only thing that I know of in this case that could be argued to be wrong.

Maybe the thread wasn't closed because of the material itself, but because it was advertising a sexual taste that's too kinky, and inappropriate for some of our younger members. consent is relative, under the eyes of the law i'm not sure if one can truelly give consent when under the influence (as if all vocal and written documents then become void).

Some people also have an opinion that peadophillia will perhaps become legalised somewhere down the line since other taboos as interacial sex, sodomy and homosexuality have all become imbraced by modern society. I try not to give it much thought.

at the end of the day, one person is going to do what they like whether another person likes it or not. Morality doesnt really come to it so why make it an issue. If this wasn't the case then rapes wouldn't happen, but they do...

Okay, as a Catholic, I'm going to put forward my two cents.

I think needlessly promiscuous sex is wrong. The Catholic church places quite an amount of importance on sex, to the point where over the years, it's been perverted into a belief that sex is bad.

Sex isn't bad - it's sacred. It's a holy gift, and I don't think it should be used lightly. I know I run the risk of sounding like a prude by encouraging marital sex over premarital, but I think sex should be reserved for people you truly care about. It's an extremely intimate action.

That said - if you're married, and in private, go hog wild, I don't care. Honestly, this counts for homosexual couples as well - if you're in a committed, faithful, monogamous relationship, party on!

That's correct Ronny, as I've said before, no joke...I saw a documentary on PBS about some South American tribe where, when a toddler is crying, the Dad will pick him up and perform ******io on him, to sooth him. It's an expected part of good parenting for that culture.

If they came to America, and saw a Father with his 2 year old son who was crying, and the Father didn't respond in that unspeakable way, the South American would think the American Dad was a neglectful ass****.

But of course, WE'RE right and THEY'RE the backwards, heathen animals.

Some cultural things are relative, other things though seem to be cross cultural, and some things seem to almost act like darwinism...weeding out cultures who attempt to incorporate them (canabalism for example leads to high incidences of disease and insanity, and often is either eventually rejected or leads to a civilization's downfall). You can also find there is a link between western culture and prosperity, there could be several reasons for this so it may not relate at all, but they found that any culture that wishes to advance or has advanced has not done so (long term) without implementation of some western philosophies. This could easily relate the imperialism, I have no idea, I have never seen the study personally.

Jared Diamond who wrote "Guns, Germs and Steel" would say prosperity has a lot more to do with the distribution of species that can be domesticated than a western approach to morality.
All racists should be forced to read that book btw.
