The most anticipated villian.

^ I agree... but too many bad ones sadly. (superman 3 is the one I remember the best from childhood)

I loved the return to smallville! and I loved that Lana came in, instead of Margot Kidder's Lois!... I loved many of the action sequences; BAD superman!;)... and LOVE the bowling alley scene!!!... But for some reason it seemed so DIFFERENT from the last two films (with Lester taking over)! and even though I find Gus Gorman funny, he ruins the film... It's like it's HIS movie.

Still a Hater! Gus Gorman made all of his scenes watchable. And that's due to Pryor's excellent comedic timing.

Most people jump on Pryor as the default problem with superman 3, when it fact it was the lame villains and their lame scheme, and Richard Lester's slapstick gags that truly ruined it.

Oh come on people , use your imagination , Vulture could awesome , creepy in a Hannibal Lecter ,Silence of the Lambs kinda way , with wings !!!! preying in the weak , he'd make Venom look like a girl scout.......LOL
If they gave him consideration for this movie, he probably would have been bad ass.

Never could get over robo-women!!! lame!

Immature idiots there's many of on these boards... however I'm not one of them! I'm usually pretty mellow.... However (even though I'm looking forwards to seeing VENOM) some guys keep building the movie up as if there's nothing more to the movie than VENOM, and there definitly is. (keep that up and you're bound to get disappointed!) VENOM is just a surprise character! a damn cool one indeed, BUT a surprise character. How about appreciating this huge movie for something more then VENOM for a change!??? Is that to hard to grasp???:o

Here's an idea... maybe you shouldn't care about what other people want. Maybe you should, you know, mind your own business? And for somebody who's not supposed to be one of the immature people here, you sure act like a twelve-year-old.

You're behaving like an idiot because people like Venom and are looking forward to his appearance in the movie. I don't know how you delude yourself into finding that to be a threat of some sort to yourself or other Spidey characters.

Did it ever occur to you that just because Venom isn't the main villain, that, maybe, Venom fans are okay with that? Or do you think we're all fools who are convincing ourselves that he IS going to be the main villain? I think you need to work on your comprehension skills.

I cannot wait to see VENOM in the movie, Naite. The movie is all about him. It's just one, long build up to him. Wouldn't you agree, Naite? Doesn't my opinion just boil your blood, Naite?

Pull the stick out of your ass and stop concerning yourself with other people's opinions, or the internet will eat you alive.

I think it's obvious that anyone who is a big enough Spider-Man geek to be posting on these boards knows Venom plays a relatively small part in the movie, but that doesn't mean they can't be excited for him.

I'd say:

1. Venom
2. Sandman
3. New Goblin

The symbiote isn't a villain, people.

For the most part I guess you are right... You may not believe this, but in some weird twisted way of mine, I guess I'm just trying to let those people who are hard-core Venom fans know that they'll end up beeing disappointed I could only emagine, when they see that VENOM is only in the film for the last 10 minutes... and I never said that I'm not looking forwards to seeing VENOM come to life on screen, cause I surdently am!... I'm just apreciating this film for a WHOLE LOT MORE!

So am I. But on the topic of Venom, there's so much more speculation to be had because he's under wraps. You're technically going to be more interested in the thing you know less about that that which you know quite a bit about.

It was ruined from the word go, Richard Pryor's humor in that film wasn't good at all--it's why I fear too much humor/witty banter in these types of films. I can't remember anything I like about Supes 3, and I never figured out why they never used his classic villains (other than Lex) in the third movie. Comic book films can go downhill quick, but Supes 3 killed that franchise faster than you can say Batman and Robin.

About the question at hand, I'm looking forward to the Goblin/Sandman's stuff the most and Spidey in the symbiote costume, Venom is a nice added bonus. And for some strange reason (although it matter not too much to me) I'm not 100% certain they're going to kill Eddie Brock.

i really cant wait until Sandman beats the poo out of Dock Ock. i mean dang man you know Ock is going to be back, there is no way he died man, i mean come on man.so yeah i think that is Rami's little secret, he is gonna bring back ock only for him to die. GENIOUS!!!

That I can only say TRUE to... ok, I'll let it go, and I wont "troll" over people going crazy over seeing VENOM no more (didn't even know that was what I was doing). I only hope that people wont be disappointed in the matter of small screen-time the creepy fellow gets in the end... Hope those 10 minutes will be the brawl of the century, I really do! For all VENOM fans sake!

Vulture.jpg

So you're telling me, some old man in dance spandex with feathers would make a maniac fused with an alien symbiote from beyond the stars, look like a girl scout, I wan't you to stop snorting Ajax!

Thankyou!

Well I think he was probably joking about the Venom girl scout line. Regardless, of course Vulture isnt as good of a villain Venom. But he could still be good villain to use for a another movie, with the right changes to his character.

nope next villains should be Electro, Carnage you know some cool villains...

Well, that's a given.

But this thread isen't about Vulture, so i'll take the first step to letting it drop.

This thread is about the most anticipated villain.

I said Venom, but i'm also looking forward to Sandman and Harry. But as I mentioned earlier in this sea of babbling, i'm looking forward to the movie as a whole such as the plot and direction.

Exactly, but that's a discussion for another thread, seeing as this one hit rock bottom.

yeah i can see that...but i think Electrto would be an awesome villain to bring in next. electricity is always cool. and carnage could be a good line up too. I don't know if we can squeeze Venom, Carnage, Electro, and Lizard for the next movie but that would be really cool to see Lizard finally be developed and Electro on screen would be awesome.

I would love to see Electro come to the big-screen, he is one of the "greats" if you will. See, the villains I would include for SM-4 would be Electro and the Lizard. Somehow I doubt Carnage will be in a movie (Simply he is too violent, but one can dream).

I still say THE LIZARD (main villain), Kraven or/and Electro would be great for SM4.

I agree, Vis.

Having the whole Connors/Lizard angle be the main focus of the story. And if you wanted, Kraven can be set-up to hunt down the Lizard. But I also think Electro could workout just fine for SM-4 as well.

It's all a matter of time now.

Well yea I agree Kinpin should have been white, but casting a black guy to play him isnt butchering his character.

The color of his skin didn't matter. But making him Ghetto with an organization of one did. But then DD, Elektra and Bullseye didn't get the best treatment either.

I agree, the movie version seemed nothing like the Kingpin we all know and love, overall, I didn't think Daredevil was good at all. And I didn't think highly of the Elektra movie.

I don't know what you saw, but I saw a suave, rather chunky, businessman smoking a cigar who was physically powerful enough to get scrappy and fight the hero if he wanted to. That's all I've ever known of kingpin so if there's something they missed in the film beyond skin color, I didn't see it.
