I really almost forgot about Don't Worry Darling and the soap opera surrounding that mess.
Yeah, I forgot about it as well lol! I am very sure that killed the Olivia Wilde helmed Spider-Woman movie that we haven't heard about since it was announced years ago

Yeah but my point is unlike Pedro his stardom didn't go up after WW84, it went kinda down.
I love Chris Pine but I never really got the sense that he has a lot of star power anyway. He's very likable but he also had the benefit of being one of the leads of two major franchises in Star Trek and DC which already had a built-in audience. The other potential blockbuster stuff that he's been the lead in didn't really take off, like Dungeons and Dragons and that Jack Ryan movie he did 10 years ago. He also strikes me as more of a Pattinson type who'll occasionally do a big budget movie to pay the bills but what he's really passionate about is making smaller movies like Hell or High Water and Poolman.

And then Bruce Wayne inevitably shows up...

The dude is built like Absolute Batman for God's sake :sneeze:
I've only seen this guy in a few things: Fast X, Catching Fire (which shouldn't even count as he plays such a small part) and those silly live action TMNT movies where he played Raph. He's got the look, I'm not convinced about his acting skills but I've heard good things about Reacher so

Yeah he probably doesn't but his agent probably does.

Hey, if you got something to say to Ninjablade, say it to his face and take it to the streets. :o

The only streets I will take it to:

I...actually support this. I can picture Alan playing a very intimidating, emotionally withdrawn Bruce and Batman.
Yup, really starting to warm up to the idea. He was great as Hawk on Titans. Loved him in a ton of other stuff over the years. Big guy in great shape, can pass for late 30s at 41, which is the sweet spot imo.

I’m for it

Bruh, we really lived in a world where we had Lil Kim and Kimora Lee Simmons as playable fighters against Method Man and Memphis Bleek in WWF style action.

These kids today don't even know.
Bring me back to the days when 50 Cent could just walk up to a game developer, demand that they put him in a game and have them say, "Sure, why not?"

Yet another hot take on my part:

Revolutions wasn't reaaaaaaaaaaally that bad either. Ham-fisted a smidge, but ultimately the sisters gave a satisfying ending.

In that awful world, that movie would've sucked more than the actual comic event does :o

You had to be a 90s kid to appreciate the fun nothingburger that event was. You're a youngin who loves Venom movies, you don't know any better. :o

Outside of that badass 3rd act, it felt like it tried to undo everything that was set up with the last movie.
