I have only seen through Saw I think it was V. I like the first 3. I thought 4 and 5 kind of sucked. I heard there are some hidden gems in the later movies, just never watched them

Speaking of gore how many of y’all watched Substance? Thats another i aint touchin’ with a ten foot pole. I’ve read the descriptions of some scenes yeeesshhh.
Body horror is a whole different beast. The Fly, Titane, The Thing.

It's the only decent remake in my eyes. :o

Also I like Jessica Biel. Her character in Blade got me into archery.
Well, as long as Rob Zombie's Halloween and the 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street exist, it's certainly not the worst. :o

Remember those days in the '00s when we were bombarded with constant horror remakes? I think TCM was the one that actually kickstarted the popularity of those because it made back like 10x its budget. I remember I was actually impressed by the Hills Have Eyes remake and I have a soft spot for the Friday the 13th remake just because of how much stupid fun it was to watch in a packed theater.

My Bloody Valentine 3D or when Jensen Ackles attempted a movie career. House of Wax was the movie that killed Paris Hilton

I just realized Sean Bean is in the Silent Hill movie and doesn't die. :funny:
I totally forgot about that movie and I watched it in theaters.

I feel like with age, my brain is pushing out memories of mediocre and bad movies I've seen. Just the other day I saw that Caravan of Garbage was covering that "Specifically Not Wicked" Oz prequel movie with James Franco and I don't think I've even thought of that movie in 11 years. Even though I had seen it, I couldn't remember a thing about the plot other than Mila Kunis becoming the Wicked Witch of the West.

I completely forgot that one existed until the Wicked movie was announced. I still remember it was originally supposed to star RDJ.

Not sure if it would have improved the movie at all other than removing the "James Franco cringe" that can set in after rewatching his movies, not that anyone is rewatching Oz: The Great and Powerful anyway. :o

Saw's an interesting one to me. Always thought the first was good, but didn't keep up with them. Saw a bunch last year and I have to say, the series has a lot more going for it then I realized. I assumed they devolved into Hostel, and maybe some of them did. But the mythos and general idea around why what is happening is happening, is actually halfway decent. Really liked Saw X.

I like the description of it as a big soap opera. Something which I think hurt Jigsaw and Spiral.

Back in the day I compared them to very gory and R-rated versions of CSI but the soap opera analogy somehow makes more sense.

I watched Silent Hill two years ago and I can't remember anything.

With the chance of a Superman trailer appearing before the end of the year, I think if it's attached to Sonic, there is a non-zero chance that Cavill, the guy who made video games a part of his personality, will see it in the theater and shed a tear at what could've been.

Going to go with CBM synergy, attach it to Kraven.

Also, deadline now has Joker coming in 4th this weekend, behind Beetlejuice's 6th weekend.

Is he even that much of game nerd or is it something that oversells to a specific portion of his audience? I always wondered.

He strikes me as having genuine nerdy hobbies. He's not Pratt trying to convince us he played Mario.
Not saying that he never touched a game controller in his life, I just wonder if he's more of a casual player and he overstates it to win incels and other male nerds online as he champions source material fidelity. But maybe you're right.

Hey, who hasn't played Mario?!

I don’t see Cavill as a Sega guy even if his video game nerddom is remotely genuine lol. Sonic seems too fun for him. :o

BJ holding strong, even with the VOD release. Spooky season in full force!

Chris Pratt.

As to Cavill, I think he's less gamer, more into specific games. So I guess it could go either way.
