And every SF figure comes with crippling debt
It was Truth, Justice, and the American Way.Did you just insinuate that Superman fans are Trumpers?
That is not just bannable. It’s ass-whoopable.

Jesus, that's blatant robbery. Every other "Art of Book" is like $50. There's no way this thing is worth 3x that.View attachment 144545
With a price tag like that, I can only assume they intend to make up box office expectations off it![]()

Maybe if wages matched inflation...Jesus, that's blatant robbery. Every other "Art of Book" is like $50. There's no way this thing is worth 3x that.
I really miss him as well. Great guy and one of the best posters on here.Yeah I'm glad someone else brought him up because it honestly feels like it's been forever since he's posted here but I'm glad to hear he's doing well and Im definitely looking forward to his return.
These boards just don't feel the same without him especially with so many quality superhero movies out here right now and I really do miss hearing his really honest input on Marvel films.

At least I still see how his workouts are going as we follow each other on the same running app. He’s still a beast there. He’s finished a couple of half marathons and at least one full marathon since April. But he’s such a kind guy that he still gives me kudos on my 3 mile jogs that are fueled by tendinitis and arthritis.
Hope he comes back around here.
I actually watched the live action HTTYD last night. I felt like I was watching an elaborate fan film recreation of the animated movie. I didn't hate it because it didn't take any drastic liberties to change the story like some of the Disney remakes have and to be fair, the leads did a decent job but at the same time it's just a cash grab. All it really made me want to do was rewatch the animated one and to my surprise, it wasn't streaming on Peacock anymore. Maybe it will be again once the live action one hits that platform but it's really my own fault for not owning it.I can't speak to Bloodlines, but HTTYD depressed me more than any movie in quite some time. Just a completely empty (and ugly) husk of a film. Even the worst Disney remakes brought more new moments/ideas to the table than this. And people ate it up.

Didn't Cobra Kai lose in Karate Kid?First, that’s cool as hell that you guys follow each other on that running app. Kudos to you both for the marathons and jogs.
But second, the audacity of threatening me with an ass whooping when you got tendinitis and arthritis! I got something for you now.

Yes but the important thing is they ended up winning eventually. Like three to four decades later.Didn't Cobra Kai lose in Karate Kid?
Listen....rebuilding faster than the Browns did after losing a title game isn't an achievementYes but the important thing is they ended up winning eventually. Like three to four decades later.![]()

Oh Robbie knew. Kind of disappointing they never followed up on that but I don't know how it would have fit in Spider-Man 3.
Loved that moment as a kid because it made the world feel a little more realistic, like people trained in investigative journalism couldn't put together how Pete was able to get those picturesOh Robbie knew. You can see why Eddie resorted to Photoshop.
Were people upset about that? I am perfectly fine modernizing the concept of the Bugle. It's fineAre we still upset the Bugle is a podcast in the vein of InfoWars, Charlie Kirk, and Ben Shapiro?
One of the smaller moments in the Raimi movies I always loved was the Goblin threatening JJJ to give up the name of the photographer who got the pictures of Spider-man and him refusing. Was a brief glimpse that this guy might have a heart after all.Are we still upset the Bugle is a podcast in the vein of InfoWars, Charlie Kirk, and Ben Shapiro?

Pretty much what @Flint Marko said. People were upset because making Jameson into MCU Alex Jones felt like a degradation to the character. One of the smaller moments in the Raimi movies I always loved was the Goblin threatening JJJ to give up the name of the photographer who got the pictures of Spider-man and him refusing. I don't mind the newer spin, it's particularly appropriate in this age of disinformation, but it does sort of throw out the possibility of JJJ ever having a moment like that. Doesn't bother me but just something I've thought of
I dont think thats true. Just give JJJ an arc. Just an idea here, but maybe you have Jonah put in a position where Spider-Man does something that makes him see him in a more heroic light, and he has to choose between protecting him or giving him up to the bad guy afterward. Have that arc be a moment to payoff a character change. He doesn't just have to be a one note character. You can have him be that. But doing so doesn't mean you cannot test that with a good story beatOne of the smaller moments in the Raimi movies I always loved was the Goblin threatening JJJ to give up the name of the photographer who got the pictures of Spider-man and him refusing.
