OOC: I was just informed that there would be a "second Season" for this RPG. For those of you who read my last post, I guess I'll just wait till then to start playing again, since it has been so long since I played and I don't know what's going on. My last post can be considered a "Cliffhanger."

OOC: Oh man, I remember I joined in in like page 33 or something.. I posted about a dozen or so times and took a 3 day break for reasons that I can't even remember myself (was probably vacationing in New York, not sure)... But when I came back.. You people were at page 60+.. I tried to get back into it, but WW screwed it up and I was completely ignored.. And then I was like "**** this.".. Guess it serves you right for treating me like this

OOC: I think I was the only one who really seemed to read what Red X was doing. I remember you and Nightwing fighting Mad Hatter and then things just went downhill for Red X. Nobody was responding to your character's calls for attention. I can see how it could be frustrating.

OOC: Elderone..... Don't let a few stupid people ruin it for you. and I was gone for like a week, so you can imagine how much missed!

OOC: and yeah, I know people ignored you. I dont think that Prometheus ever had any contact with your character though.

" I think we might be a bit overdressed for this John why don't you and Slade snoop around and see what you can find out. We'll wait in the Javalin, just hollar if you need assistance. "

* As Nightwing and Canary walk back to the Javalin, Nightwing confides in Canary. *

" Dinah, if you want to accompany the group covertly you are welcome to, I don't trust Slade enough to go civilian why he is around. "

Dinah looked thoughtful.

"No. I know how you feel, but I think he'd be more inclined to want to cross us if he thought we didn't trust him."

OOC: Okay I'm a little stressed about this whole thing. batnkevlar wants everything to wrap up and this feels like it's dragging. *stressed*

"Whatever." John answers her back. "Well Slade. Since you been here awhile I suggest you take the lead." he says to him as they leave the Javalin. As soon as the're some distance away he says to him "What ever you did to them in the past must have been major. Apparently you don't have even the slightist trust with this group."

Luthor looks Superman in the eye and says, "Superman I have no doubt that you are true to your word...Therefore I will honor our deal to the letter of the law. Once again as a show of good faith..." he presses several buttons on his wrist guantlet and says, "Dr. Arkham tell these Gentlemen what has just happened."

They both are smiling and Arkham says, "A sizable donation to our general fund. Luthor those tapes are history Superman stop by my office anytime and I will arrange your time with the Joker and give you all the tapes and paperwork concerning this issue."

Luthor ends his discussion with Arkahm and says, "Now Gentlemen hand me the pardon and the ACLU will be very happy to overlook any complaints about this issue. Otherwise ...I have had dealings with them...they can be quite tenacious."

*Taking his cue, Felix Faust teleports next to Lex Luthor and Hal Jordan, Batman, and Superman*


"All the world is a stage, and all the people merely players..."

"Sorry Luthor, but I always go to the highest bidder, especially one that'll help me get the Book of the Dead..."

 

[FrantikMagik]

"Haud Navitas!" Faust chants

*All energy is cut off, including radios, devices of any sort, gadgets, and Lantern Power Rings...*

"Immobulous!" Faust yells at Batman. The paralyzation hex cannot be dodged and it hits Batman in the chest.

"Immobulous!" he yells again at Superman and again at Lex Luthor.

"The highest bidder was you, ex-Green Lantern of this sector. Do you truly wish for what you need to do? Believe me, once it happens, there are few to change it back..."

"Dammit, Faust..."

*Hal thinks for a split-second*

"Do it."

"Ok then, as long as I get what i want. The Book of the Dead will be mine by way of Carter Hall, right? Very well."

*With that last chant, Lex's long-term memory is sifting away, like the sands of Time. He can no longer remember things of the past. He is only able to remember here and now.*

"What now, oh Emerald One?"

OCC - Twilight don't stress too much, nothing has to be resolved. Besides this is just a segway to another story anyway. No worries.
