(agreeing with Batman) "Yeah, Hal. I think we need to be filled in on this. I don't like being kept out of the plan either. WTH is going on?!"

 

[RPG swordmaster]

"Very Well", Slade replies to John and strides forward as he hits a button on his suit to change his costume to civilian clothes. His face remains strangely shadowed, so no one can get a good look at it.

"That man across the way seems to be in charge here" says Slade, pointing to the foreman, "Say what you would like to him, I am not sure of how you would like to handle this situation.

 

[HuyLantern]

*Joseph Kane, foreman of the South African diamond mine watches his employees work and toil to meet the daily quota of raw uncut diamonds. Then he notices a group of suspicious strangers in the distance.*

 

[HuyLantern]

*Sinestro after witnessing what happened to Luthor on the "IS" monitoring system. He clams himself and thinks for a moment.*

"I guess having a backup plan won't hurt."

*Sinestro using his ring wills a yellow transparent orb, yellow light emits from his abnormally large forehead. The transparent orb is partially filled with a white yellowish liquid. Sinestro walks over to the main computers and the computers glow with a yellow tint. The orb is fully filled and Sinestro’s ring tells him that the copying process is finish. An electric warp gate opens from behind Sinestro, a short Qwardian walks into the "IS" base. Sinestro speaks to the dwarfed Qwardian.*

"Hello, thank you for doing this, take this back to Qward and keep it safe."

*The short Qwardian walks back into the portal and Sinestro wanders back to the monitoring area, and watches the screens.

"What is taking them so long?"

"Yes. I have agreed a little trade with Faust. In return, we get Luthor off our back. We make him into what we want him to be: a model citizen. With a mindwipe of sorts, we can change the world. I don't care whether you kick me off the Justice League for this, but it has to be done..."

*Hal turns to Faust*

"Do it Faust..."

OOC: Sorry to bring this up, but I have some constructive criticisms I would like to express to Batman409 and DarkKnightJr. First, why is Batman having conversations with Hal as if they were friends? Ever since Parallax happened, Bruce still hasn't forgiven and holds no trust for Hal. When Brodieman was Batman, he expressed that very well. Secondly, why does Superman and Batman after being free from immobilization, do not do anything about Lex being mind altered. This is totally against their beliefs and out of character. Once again sorry to bring this up, but I thought there are rules about playing according to your characters.

OOC: My responces are meant to be more sarcastic. It's not really him being a good conversator, he's basically lampooning these guys. That's at least how it plays in my mind.

"My, aren't we a visionary? You think that with your own little personal magision, you can just turn everyone you want to whatever you want? No offence--oh, nevermind, I do mean offence, but you are pushing your boundries. You are going where you should not go. You go down this road, and you will have no partners here. You go down this road, you might as well go back to the center of the galaxy and try to destroy the universe yet again. You go down this road and you might as well be 'Paralax' again.

"I cannot--WILL NOT-- allow you to go down that road. If you try to go down that road, I will obstruct, either by myself or with an army, I do not care. If you try to go past me, I will fight you. I don't give a damn about what nifty party tricks you can do with your decoder ring. I will fight you, and I will beat you. Even if it costs me my life, I will fight until you are down on the ground bleeding and begging me to bring you back to the light.

"So what will it be, will you go down that dark path, or shall you drive back?"

OOC: Well, I was leading up to that. batnkevlar never explained to us what exactly he was planning. I kinda saw it coming but I wasn't gonna jump the gun until it was more obvious. Supes and Hal did just have a scuffle, so I'm sure this won't sit to well with Superman even more, hehe.

"WHAT?! FAUST, STOP RIGHT THERE!!! This is not right. This isn't the solution for this. (grabbing Hal by his arm) LOOK AT ME!! You can't do this Hal. I will not stand here and just let this happen. (pointing to Batman) WE will not let this happen!"

"I had already pointed this out to him, Clark."

OOC: DarkknightJr and Batman409 thanks for responding and sorting that out, I guess I was jumping the gun. Since I've been playing on the Marvel RPG more often than the D.C., I forget how slow the D.C. thread goes.

"Hmmm. Let me think for a sec." John says and pauses for a second. "Just say we're freelance journalists researching the blood diamonds thing. Though to be honest I don't know why Nightwing looking for here though." he ends.

"For a while, I thought you might of actually changed. Of course, I've never said anything, have to keep the image, but perhaps a small part of me hoped that Paralax was gone forever. But I was wrong. You are just as bad as Paralax. As a matter of fact, you are even worse. At least Paralax did not disquise who he truely was.

"You are no longer welcome here. If you try to continue with your plan, I swear to God, I will personally take you down myself. Leave, or we will force you to leave."

*Faust smiles at Lex*

*As the spell goes on, dark red/black blood-like energy recedes out of Lex Luthor's pores. His eyes roll back into his head and he floats a couple inches off the ground. Light blue enrgy also escapes his body, but when it reaches the air, it expands and floats back into him.*

"Done..."

 

[FEAR THE BAT]

-Unable to move due to Felix Faust's spell and realizing that Hal and Faust are continuing with their irresponsible plan of mind-wiping Luthor I reply in the only manner I can possibly think of...

"WTF!!!"

"I'm sorry, Bats, it had to be done... it was the only way. We couldn't deal with terrorists, don't you see? We are instead turning them around, doign the very thing you have been trying to do with the Joker and Two-Face for a while now by sending them to Arkham..."

 

[FEAR THE BAT]

-Still immobilzed by Faust's spell I yell out....

"AARRGGHH!!! LET ME OUTTA THIS, DAMN IT!!

"Hal. I'm sorry, but Oliver is gone. And he told me to tell you not to try to find him. Please follow his wishes. Hal? What are you doing?"

Luthor still unconcsious begins twitching. Luthor's battle-suit says through external speakers, "Unable to register recognizable brain activity...initiating death protocols...death protocols initiated. Preparing to execute operation:take-down...Mr. Luthor do you wish to continue? If you are unable to respond operation: take-down will comence immediately. "
