I really need to see the trailer for this because I think I may actually like it. Forget ghosts. That's what really scares me.

I think that's kind of a cool idea, actually, historical ghosts as the main storyline. We got a taste of that in GHOSTBUSTERS 2, with the events around New York and to a smaller extent, the Sceleri Brothers, but that's not a bad concept for a threat to the city.

And wait a minute...

People think they're actually trying to look badass?

They're clearly doing a tongue in cheek "macho" act. It's being done for humorous purposes. They're not actually trying to look badass.

Probably because it's a behind the scenes set pic and it's not being shown to us in the angle it's going to be in the movie.....

The famous historical bad guy ghosts is the first good idea I've read about for this movie. Maybe a glimmer of hope. Still waiting on a trailer before passing final judgement if I'm going to see this or just wait for Netflix or just completely pass.

1. Pissed off, or maybe focused. Some people get that look when they're working on something of great importance. Like busting some supernatural criminals.

2. Drab's kind of a baseline for the GB look, if you'll go back to the way they looked in-suit for the old series.

I wonder if there's going to be a head honcho ghost running it all.

the fact that this is more diverse than a lot of entertainment today is sad, but Im still not crazy about the black kid being the tallest and the ginger girl being thrown into a sports jersey and the obvious implication that she is a lesbian

Cool pic and I love the concept of them facing the ghosts of oldschool criminals.

What I'm wondering is are they going to come up with any originality? We've already seen ghost criminals from the past; The Scoleri brothers in part II, zoot suit gangster ghosts (Al Capone and his gang in the animated series), seen old war time ghosts (Civil War era ghosts in the video game). Come up with something new already.

They're trying to look angry or intimidating, but look ridiculous. Look as bad as those Terminator Genesys ET covers.

Id be willing to bet 99 percent of people going to see this movie have never seen the animated series or played the video game

I've said it before but the sole thing about this movie I look forward to is the inevitable turnaround GB2 will be getting. I've always been a big defender of GB2 and never got the hate for it and I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the reception towards it gets a lot warmer after the release of this film. It's not perfect but I think GB2 did many things right and I'll always be hard-pressed to imagine Ghostbusters without also thinking of the sequel (as well as the animated series).
