The New Ghostbusters - Part 6

I'm most excited about seeing how McKinnon tackles her character. She's been friggin hilarious on SNL the past year, and easily the stand out amongst pics and posters released so far. Just a rad looking character. Otherwise I haven't been impressed at all with the rest of what they shown or the rumored plot.

Hope things change when the teaser is released but I have a difficult time believing this is the best they could do at this point to get people on board. Forums, social media and comment sections have just been a mess to read through. Time to start showing why people who are questionable or against it should be more confident.

Generally speaking, I think it's pretty easy to discern how things will turn out based off of casting, the crew, plot synopses, concept and promo art, sourced rumors, etc. Trailers will be the final piece of the puzzle to get a full [early] picture of it. Is it always perfect? no. But it gives one a good general idea of what to expect.

So to use AA's "whiny kids" example above..
it'd be more like an adult not liking the s*** sandwich you're making for dinner, because they know for a fact that they don't like s*** or bread. Will the sandwich be soggy too? well we don't know that yet, but we got an idea

It's funny. When I first saw the actual car way back when, I was not super impressed. But I really like it in Lego form. This set is pretty awesome if you're excited for the reboot like me. Too bad the hood ornament isn't more accurate. One of my favorite parts.

i didn't know he was possessed - wasn't really bothered either. it's not a spoiler mate, to me, but for some, it could be... i have just lost all enthusiasm for this film, it just looks a random mess with trouble behind the scenes - literally we know nothing besides leaks and a couple of promo pics, no teasers, nothing. I hope it's a good film, but it's not what i would have liked. Plus - no slimmer!!!!!!!!!

It probably will be. Spy came out in June, it's first trailer hit in January. This comes out in July, so this month sounds about right.

This movie will be what it is. I'm not a fan of the route they're going. Personally I wish they would've gone the Episode VII route with a hand-off to a new group, and special tribute to Ramis. They've already got most of the original cast making cameos.

What I find interesting though is the look they're going for. The jumpsuits are forgivable, but Ecto has a bunch of crap on top without any flash, and the new packs look like they're strapping a combination box fan toolbox on their backs.

Even fan made ectos that aren't 59 miller& meteor's get the look right where this doesn't.

Most people were looking for an extension of the original story that respects the source material and the producers missed that part. Why is this so hard for them to get?

spot on - this is how i feel, but to try and be different, but still looking the same, it comes off wrong and arrogant. But, i am willing to give it a chance.

Hopefully, maybe] Feig can prove us skeptics wrong. I would actually be happy if he did. This trailer would be the first step in swaying us. But I'm just not very confident right now.

A trailer his late in the game doesn't help inspire confidence either.
