This does a really great job of showcasing the movie and its humor much better than the trailer or any other marketing so far. Chris looks hysterical.

This is the first featurette from this movie that I like. Hemsworth has a knock for comedy and I think he could be the funniest part of this Ghostbusters reboot.

Watch, this movie is going to make a killing opening weekend.

Why? Because people will go and see it just to have something to ***** about.
It's like the Kardashians. People want them to go away, but talking about how much we all want that keeps them in the news cycle.

If we are going by this logic why didn't anyone go see Fan4tisc last year?

Feig has done the worst thing imaginable with this premise. Girl-busters looked like such a gimmick, and from everything I've seen it is being played like one. So many "Look! They're girls!" moments, oddly highlighted by Hemsworth's presence as all his material seems to be "look at that big dumb guy!".

As far as its success... I don't know. It'll catch some nostalgia money for sure, but I'm not sure how widespread the Ghostbusters interest goes. It certainly has a passionate core fanbase, though most don't like what they're seeing.

Maybe the marketing team has changed. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony have cut the budget on it after the flack they've caught from the trailer.

i think it was genius to cast an actor from a superhero movie. Its like Feig knew that this would piss of superhero fans haha.

''how dare you to show my Thor hero as an attractive dumb guy''

He is the comic relief idiot...he is sorta like Luis Tully and Janine rolled into one. His scenes are genuinely funny.

Which might work (he's great) if the women play stronger characters than we've seen so far. They're all comic relief characters to me at this point.

Since you've seen the movie can you tell me if Leslie Jones' character is as unbearably annoying in the movie as she is in the trailers?

The only thing I agree is that Hemsworth is really good at comedy. His role in Vacation was hilarious.

I feel like they've shown her most extreme moments in the trailer already. She certainly does not dominate the film.

You've seen the film? In spoiler tags or pm can you tell me if this film is a sequel and linked to the original two films? Or is it stand alone remake?
They sure seem to be trying to sell it as a rough sequel with the "new team" line in the trailer.

Was that clip with Hemsworth supposed to be funny? It wasn't.

And what's up with him being the dumb bimbo in this supposed movie where women are supposed to be "women of power" or whatever they're trying to push?

At this point even they don't know what kind of direction they want to take with this movie.

I thought that clip was the funniest thing they put out. He looks to be the equivalent to Statham in Spy. Just a complete moron.

I dont think this movie will be good

But I find it funny to see people are upset of Hemsworth playing the dope.

Is it bad I've felt a lot of the defenses of this film as well as some of the complaints have been funny too? Between this thread, Ghost in the Shell and Baywatch I've been extremely entertained LOL.

No scenes from this thing have even made me crack a smile. When the trailer showed at Dawn of Justice, my entire theater booed it.

If Hemsworth is suppose to be the male version of Janine then they've completely lost the plot. Janine wasn't an airhead, in fact she had no problem speaking her mind and being assertive.

And she wasn't a sex symbol. I guess she may look hot now, for that "hipster" look, but back then, she was meant to look nerdy.

She wasn't dumb, but she wasn't the brightest. That's why when she's trying to flirt with Egon she passes herself off as intellectual but isn't really. She says she likes to read, but means magazines. Egon kind of sees through her.

The second movie they upped her sexuality.

And Luis wasn't a total idiot or airhead either. Major dork? Yes. But not an idiot to the point where you question yourself how a person like that manages to get through life.

Well, he does lock himself out of his apartment constantly.

And has no idea who the Ghostbusters are when they've clearly been celebrities the past few months.
