Ouch, just checked, you mean the one from 2014 :hehe: But Fant4stic has over 100 more reviews, that's a much better sample for trainwrecks history. :woot:

I was anti-Fant4stic back then, I remember when it was dropping at 16% it was christmas already. Sinking to single digits is catastrophic, wildest dreams material.
True true. I just remember when someone ruined the perfect 0% score for Hercules. It broke my heart. :csad:

Considering I wanted Trank no where near Star Wars, the FF situation was like Christmas for me also.

Is this aimed at me because I've been pretty consistent in my dislike of this film from day one?
If you have hated this movie from day one, it is indicative you were never going to like it no matter what it was, and thus were set on sending out the hate from day one. Throwing your toys out of the pram is how the saying goes I believe.

And we are all shocked that those that made the baseless claims that this would be one of the worst movies ever are still acting this way. :funny:

The film will still end up being bad the critics most likely have it wrong this time.

To be fair, I think most did.

As for the consensus, big whoop. It can change. And does.
Who owns RT again now, is it Fandango? They'd have a good reason to want to give any movie a good look early. Ticket sales and all.

We don't even know what the majority of critics have to say yet, but keep going. This makes my point better then anything else ever could.

Poking Fun is one thing but threatening somebody son and wishing they would get cancer is taking it a bit to far.

Someone's son? Christ that's messed up. Thought it was just adults. Not that there isn't something wrong with threatening adults. But, kids is a whole other level kind of freak, who would do something like that? Just beyond really sickening seeing that kids were threatened.

Yeah, I imagine the consensus is going to be as much of a positive spin as they can for the most part.

The only thing I've hated about this movie is its international campaign to piss people off. The movie itself I frankly could give two ****s about, it ranks next to Robocop as films that are never going to win me over regardless. I 've only grown to dislike this movie since its marketing campaign started a few months back, a campaign that has IMO did nothing but revel in its own controversy and fan flames.

According to BvS fans, Disney owns Fandango and RT. :o

However, it's owned by Comcast (Universal) and Warner.

I know it use to be owned by Warner, but I thought they sold it? Did they only sell a piece?

Is that fresh?

Anyway, yeah never understood the decimal point outside of half points. Way too oddly specific.

I've never seen a movie get this much hate just for being a SIlly Summer comedy popcorn flick. Hell anybody that even says this is a good movie gets bashed its really ridculious I mean it's their opinion and they have a right to their opinion if ur going to be a punk about it don't go see the movie.

I bought the new Ghostbusters Lego car last week, and posted a picture of it on Twitter. Some angry manchild spent 20 minutes screeching at me because he thinks I don't have a real Ghostbusters car.

How did you know it was a manchild danoyse? :funny:

Sometimes women need complex things explained to them. I think we can all learn from his example of courage in the face of the oncoming tyrannical gynocracy.

No one has a real Ghostbusters car, they're all just toys. :oldrazz:

Funnily enough I did see something recently saying that around half of mysoginist comments are actually from women on Twitter

Where did you read that?

Instead of rushing something, spend an extra year making sure the script is air tight, making sure it does enough fan service but doesn't make you wish you were watching the original, make sure it does something fresh and new and doesn't alienate an entire demographic. THEN make the film.

There's no formula to this stuff. For every Fant4stic that fans rally against, there's a Scott Pilgrim or Dredd that falls despite hitting the right buttons and spend years in development.

These blockbusters take so long to make now, studios have to be psychic to get audience taste two years ahead of time.

Pleased to see the rating up there. Though it being this low this early isn't a great sign. But I'm optimistic which is rare or maybe it's just because I'm rooting for this movie, despite how bad the footage has been.
