Is SAW. If Saw III succeeds(sp?), we'll be seeing SAW IV next year. The last time the American public had a horror franchise release four movies in four years was Friday the 13th and I think Nightmare on Elm Street movies.

:csad::o too bad I'm not that exicted for Saw III, unlike I was for the first two.

Saw should have ended with Saw. :o

It's really stretching thin, for someone who was suppose to be ill and dying, he sure is having a long ass go of it. :o

I can't get enough of the Saw franchise. I will be seeing Saw III on opening day, and I really hope there will be a 4th one next year.

Im not seeing to much originality from Saw in terms of thinking of something different. I mean chaining people up in dark rooms and having them either cut, slice, serad, chew and dismember theirs or someone else's body parts does seem a little copy/paste from the 1st to 2nd to 3rd and beyond IMO:o

Saw suceeds because it's so (relatively) cheap they can afford to knock out one every year. It's almost a video nasty, yet at the cinema.

Gore porn is cool, I hope a few franchises like Saw or Hostel continue on so I can get my fill.

SAW was absolutely teriffic.

SAW II was even better.

SAW III will succeed as a great trilogy finisher.

But PLEASE...no SAW IV.

The series is great, but 3 movies is enough. Just kill both Amanda and Jigsaw.

And when they both DO die...I want it to be BLOODY BLOODY GORY GORY BLOODY.

Saw was really good.
I liked Saw 2 better.
Saw 3 looks the best.

Ugh. Saw 3 looks like overkill really. Jigsaw should have died in two and then just not even worry about that little ****e Amanda. :o

I honestley don't think that the series will end with Saw III. The studio knows that the movies are really cheap to make an bring in lots of money so why stop there?

Because the guy is suppose to be dying. He needs to die. And no one will watch it if that little skinny twig takes over. :o

The reason why there will be a fourth:

Budget (For both films) = 5.2 million
US Gross (For both films) = 142 million.
OS Gross (For both films) = 246 million.

Your right he is dying. The basis of the movie is about a doctor who's task is keeping him alive so he can see his last "masterpiece"

yeah very true........ even though the movies get a bit more hollywood one after the other, away from the independent movie type the first one was

Talk about milking it for what its worth:o

If any Hollywood horror franchise deserves to go to number 4, it's definately Saw. It's one of the few decent horror flicks to come out of Hollywood in the last 10 years or so, there's been some real crap horror movies as of lately.

I thought the first Saw was okay, I really didn't dig the second one. Don't think i'll care for the third.

the actor who plays Jigsaw is signed on for 5 films.

Saw should in no way be considered a scary movie.......

its just a gorey thriller

I think the Saw franchise is amazing. I can't wait for the third one. Yeah, whats up with Jigsaw? I thought he died in the second movie. It looked like it when the camera was backing out.
