Could he do anything in the other two forms or could he just survive in those forms until his powers could muster enough cold to re-freeze him?

And while we're here, didn't Emma Frost teach him how to make himself into clear ice or something like that?

I thought Emma revealed that he could turn into solid "hard ice" and do all kinds of shapeshifting-style stuff when she took over his body for a while. Bobby's pretty much mastered most of that stuff on his own since then.

Theres alot he can potentially do but the problem is he doesnt push himself. He tends to stick to the generic icing up, ice slides and freeze beams. Under different writers we've seen him use surrounding moisture to augment his size and strength (think Ice Hulk), he can zip across bodies of water for fast travel, create an animated ice army by rapidly freezing and unfreezing particles, among other things. And of course he had his body shattered, with only his head in tact and managed to suck out all the moisture from a person and reformed himself. He can use that move to instantly kill anyone, but I think they fear making him too powerful, hence why he "forgets" the things he's capable of

I cant remember if he did that, but she did show him some things. She showed him that he has alot of potential, that he's barely touched the surface of

That's what I was getting at, I wasn't sure, since I really don't follow Marvel continuity much anymore.

Whoa, wait, Iceman killed someone by sucking all their moisture out to reform his own body? :csad:

Wow. Is Beast literally the only X-Man who hasn't murdered anyone in cold blood? Although, I bet he has too. :o

It's the smile on Bobby's face that gets me. Scott apparently missed an opportunity when he didn't recruit him in Wolverine's X-DeathSquad.

"cold blood" I bet you didnt realize what you just did...lol

Yeah the fact that he seemed to have no moral conflict with it bothered me as well. Actually seemed to enjoy it there but then again that was Austen's writing for you

That was a cool use of Iceman's powers, but it was a bit out of character. But it was the better of 2 options... the 2nd being Havoc peeing on him (and yeah, it was suggested in the story out of anger or frustration or something).

I'm one of the few who liked the Draco... but I thought that scene was odd.

One of the biggest mistakes of the story was having Mystique there but barely using her at all. WTH was the point of even having her there then? The story was about Nightcrawler, his family and origins and considering she is such a major part of it, it was horrible that all she did was just decorate the background

Hmm. Minor inconvenience/gross-out or a joyous bout of lol-tastic murder? I'd go with the former. And Manic's right, Drake seems way too happy about the fact that he just murdered someone there.

Well the person he murdered was a...demon? Except that she wasn't a demon because all the demons were mutants in that arc. Or something.

Or something.

I love that it's in front of a bunch of Young X-Men (or whatever they were calling themselves back then), too. "Look, kids, once you're a full-fledged X-Man, you get to murder people with cheerful aplomb!"

He didnt kill in front of the Young X-men as they didnt exist as a team at that time. Thats Husk and Jubilee in that scene who were already full fledge X-men. Jubilee's seen worse, having been Wolverine's sidekick years earlier

Somebody refresh my memory: When's the last time we saw Hebzibah (like, from the beginning of Messiah CompleX on)?

last time I recall her being used was in Divided and the last issue of that was UXM 499

Yeah, wasn't Hepzibah hanging around in hippi-fied San Francisco?

yep. They should have left her in space with the Starjammers. I dont get why she's still here considering this is a foreign land to her and she isnt particularly close to these people. Sucks that Corsair died, but Id imagine she'd feel better being around her friends , the other Starjammers, who were more like family to her

Didn't she like Warpath or something? I thought they were together.
They were together briefly during the Extremists arc but not so much after that. He hasnt mentioned her at all in over a year in X-force

Probably too busy killin' up a storm.
which is odd that she's not there alongside him as she was a founding member of this current X-force. The team debuted in Messiah Complex, but she was missing from the roster when they got their own book

edited to add: Seems as if I was wrong. Her last actual apperance was in X-force 7, trying to talk to Warpath over the phone. I cant beleive I forgot about this funny scene. Cat girl doesnt know how to operate a phone
