Yeah, I'm betting Gyrich will not appreciate Bill and co. living on the Peak, even though they're technically not on Earth.

But I don't think that'll be the last Gillen does with him. I mean, he established that Bill owed Brand a favor and maneuvered Bill onto the Peak in the first place, and he's writing the SWORD series, so I have a hard time imagining that he won't come back to that at some point.

I can't help but wonder if SWORD employees are exempt from the massive deportation they're about to enforce, and it'll result in a lot of "reserve" sign-ups or just an alien registration. I doubt this series is going to force characters like Karolina or Hulkling to go away forever. Hepzibah can go, though. Probably Jazinda too, if anybody remembers her.

I foresee some kind of plot device that prevents it from getting to the point that those major alien characters are forced to leave.

And at first I thought S.W.O.R.D. wasn't much to get excited about, but the more I think about it the more excited I become. I love Beast and Abigail Brand is growing on me. Now if Beta Ray Bill becomes a cast member, this could become my new favorite book.

I liked her in Astonishing X-Men. She's a female Nick Fury from back in Fury's earlier days, but I think she has the potential to be more.

Yeah that supposedly was supposed to have come after the scene in UXM 511 where he confronted Scott and Emma about their secrets and lies. That scene picked up in the Confession and it was pretty much a Scott/Emma lovefest with nothing being revealed to Beast and nothing changing with his status at all

Eh, I'm enjoying Reborn. I just wish we could progress through the story already. They're lingering on the Cap flashing through time too long rather than actually getting on with his return to the present. But the concept is fine to me. It's comics. Cap's main villain is a Nazi with his face melted off who has a tendency to use a reality-warping magic alien cube. Crazy s*** happens.
