No, just in general. The whole gravity, speed, force/impact, durablity thing etc. I mean Logically, if Wolverine fought the Hulk, and the Hulk punches Logan in the chest, all of Logan's immediate organs would collapse or implode/explode from the force. His bone structure would be fine but his organs would not be.

True. Very often you have to ignore those "little" things such as the laws of physics. Hell, in Heaven's Ladder (I think that's the title), the Earth gets stolen, and the Flash actually lends speed to the Transportation booths so that they can go FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT. This is impossible.

AS for Logan, I guess you can look at it that if his rib cage is adamantium, then it couldn't collapse, and therefore it protected his organs. But you're right, they could still be VERY injured. Like in a car wreck. Even if you don't break any bones, the strain and sudden force can hurt your organs. So yes, he should at least react.

Hulk ages. But VERY slowly. Have you heard of the Maestro?

When have you ever seen the Hulk get tired?

I think maybe whenever you see the Hulk sit down and relax, it can look like he's tired. I always thought that Hulk just was frustrated and tired of fighting, not tired in as in fatigued.

He's fought people for days without getting tired, as I recall. I'm pretty sure he doesn't get tired at all.

Im agreeing with you. I'm saying when he "runs away" or whatever its because he's tired of the fighting. Tired of the "puny humans" or whatever.

Of course, same thing with Hulk The End

Haven't really read any of The End Comics. any good? Worth the mullah?

EDIT: I didn't mean to sound like I thought you were stupid, and I know the Maestro bit came off a bit condesending. =)

Hulk: The End, Punisher: The End, and The Last Avengers Story are the only comics like that that are worth reading.

No no, I didn't take it condescending at all, just saying I know very well what you are talking about is all  No worries. I've only read Hulk The End all the way through, part of Wolverine and Punisher the End but that's it.

Has anybody read any of that Ares series so far? if so is it any good?

I've read the two issues that've come out so far. It's pretty good. Oeming's really cementing himself as the go-to guy for mythology-based stories in the Marvel universe.

Personally, I think it's a great read

Same as corpy: Hulk, Punisher, and The Last Avengers Story are the only good ones. Marvel Universe: the End is also good if you're a fan of Jim Starlin and Thanos, but it doesn't live up to the title as the MU doesn't really "end" in the same way it does in the other books, and some people didn't care for Starlin's overpowering of Thanos

Wolverine was a pile of crap, and the x-men books are pretty terrible as well

suppsedly we'll be getting spider-man and the fantastic four someday as well

definitely wouldn't mind seeing a Cap one

From what I've heard, Stan Lee will be writing the FF: The End series. Unless something has change that I haven't heard about.

like I said: supposedly

honestly, I'd prefer it not be stan who writes it. I have great respect for the things the man did in the past, but his writing doesn't really hold up today. Did you read anything from his DC Just Imagine series?

I've got the TPB's of the Just Imagine series. I liked most of them quite a bit.

I read a few of them. I liked the reinterpretation of Superman, and the GL was interesting. Batman was basically a retelling of Spiderman. I really liked Wonder Woman. The costume was sweet.

Yeah me too, you just have to remember that hes writing them as if he were releasing them back in the 60's and such. or at least thats what I tell myself to keep from crying at night.

I don't really think of it as if he's writing like in the 60's. To me that's just Stan Lee's style. He's always talky, and a little cheesy. That's his style.

It's like if you pick up a Frank Miller book you expect to get hardnosed noir-ish style. Or if you pick up Warren Ellis you expect a badass loner in the story or technobabble. Or if you pick up Chuck Austen you get crap. It's just what their style is.

Yeah,in the 60's he brought us Spider-Man,the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men.Now we have Stripperela,Hef's Superbunnies, and The Backstreet Project,in which The Backstreet boys are given superpowers from aliens who think their "wonderful music" can stop an intergalactic war(yes, kind of like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, but without the camp value).

How capable is Lifeguard? Does she only keep the power for as long as she needs it? OR can she hold on to them, kinda like Mimic?

Captain Britain.Among all of the alternate dimensions, the Marvel Universe is number #616.

THANOSRULES said:
where did the phrase 616 come from??

It is the designated number for the regular Marvel universe. This was revealed in Captain Britain written by Alan Moore. There are alot of theories about why that number, some say it's the day that FF # 1 came out. Others say it's the sign of the devil. Truth is, he just kinda used that to show that the Marvel Universe wasn't really all that special. Thats why the high number.
