You can find Realism many places in comics. Mostly Indie stuff. Kirkman's Walking Dead would be a great book with Zombies that works on some level of realism. But if you're looking for realism in a book about Zombie Superheros, then you're not likely to find it.

LoL what I meant is the writers established their world and the particular hierarchy of powers and what not a long time ago. I dont care which way they go in terms of storylines as long as they keep it interesting. but when they contradict the hierarchy they've established without the storyline giving reasons why it's possible then I have difficulty believing it and that turns me off.

Galactus is established in Marvel as too friggin mighty. The Zombie virus thing didnt make the characters any more powerful and yet they managed to eat big G anyway.
I have difficulty believing that.

for the billionth time: Marvel Zombies took place in an alternate reality. Differences were pointed out to us, such as Captain America being Colonel America. Power levels could easily be different as well.

I'm a big zombie fan and I've started collecting the Walking Dead TPBs and I then found out about Marvel Zombies. I thought "Super hero zombies? Cool!" So I picked up the series. As I posted earlier the first 4 issues were really good but the last one, not so much. But I'll pick up the UFF arc that has the zombies coming back.

How excelerated is Wolverine's healing factor?

Um, very. There's no real quantative measurement for it, but it's really good and fast.

at the request of DevilHulk, can anyone recognize what issue this picture is from? From the line-up and costumes, it appears to be from somewhere right before Onslaught.

Definitely before Onslaught, cant pinponit an exact issue # right now. But id say its more or less 20 issues or less before Onslaught, very rough guess.

my thought was it might actually be part of the Onslaught Crossover, and therefore could be from almost any book Marvel was publishing at the time

Im trying to search Avengersforever.org as is. I must say though it doesnt look like any artists I could recognize.

it's actually not a bad drawing for a group portrait in what looks like it was a very small space. Anyone can draw a team shot if they have a full page, but getting a good drawing of 7 people in a 2"x2" space is impressive

Yeah, its pissing me off that I cant recognize the artists, it be so much easier if I could.

It's from Avengers #400. DevilHulk PMed me about it, and I searched through my issues based on the costumes, which had to have come from the vol. 1 issues after "The Crossing," of which there were only about a dozen or so.

The art is by Mike Wieringo, but his inker wasn't great on that issue, in my opinion. That was actually part of a panel that covered about half the page, meaning Ringo drew it at around 8" x 11", which is almost the size of a full, normal-sized page. On the other hand, the full panel has 11 people in it, so it balances out some. It's still a bit sloppy for him, though.

That's what I thought but I wasn't sure. I know it takes longer for him to heal severe injuries. But I thought there might be someway to calculate it. I mean if minor cuts heal in just a matter of seconds, that would mean that his healing factor is hundreds or throusands of times faster than a normal humans.

I got this from Marvel.com, it doesn't give exact measurements but it's still fairly close.
Wolverine is a mutant who possesses the ability to regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his cellular structure at a rate far greater than that of an ordinary human. The speed at which this healing factor works varies in direct proportion with the severity of the damage Wolverine suffers. For example, he can fully recover from an ordinary gunshot wound in a non-vital area of his body within minutes, but it took him almost two months to fully recover from injuries sustained in a duel with Lord Shingen, which included one from a sword that went all the way through his trunk.

Hmm, interesting. But how old is that info? And how amped up has Logan's healing factor become over the pasty few years?

Wolverine's healing factor is as fast as whoever's writing him wants it to be

^^LOL, Wolvie doesnt have the freedom of Deadpool to have no doubts about healing limitations (or rather lack of).

Can Shadowcat phase through laser beams or fire. I don't think I have ever saw her do that.

Concerning Magneto, is he able to use his powers to differientiate between metals? Could he say go to an area and pick out different metals based on their molecular make up, or density? Could he go to a junk yard and only lift up the steel from the site? Or the copper? etc?

Yes she can.

She does all of that and more in her first danger room session
