Holy crap --- they had Toecutter from the first Mad Max cast as J'onn J'onzz...?!?!? dubya tee eff

As far as casting Wonder Woman, and making her stand out in the sausage factory crowd, I'd go with the one I suggested elsewhere:

Alexa Davalos brings beauty, charisma, aristocracy, dignity and a bona fide action movie pedigree to the role of Diana.

I love davalos I would be pleases with her in the role but o me Jaimie Alexander just fits the role better. I know alot of people are going to say that the look doesn't have to be that close to the comics but I think it does and Jaimie has. one of the closest looks to wonder woman in the comics.

Jaimie has certainly grown up. I wouldn't be against her as the new fan favorite for Wonder Woman.

She looked incredible at the Thor premiere

Does anyone know what the confirmed cast for JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL was?
Superman/Clark Kent - D.J. Cotrona.
Batman/Bruce Wayne - Armand Hammer.
Wonder-Woman/Diana from Themyscira - Megan Gale.
Flash/Barry Allen - Adam Brody.
Flash/Wally West - Anton Yelchin.
Green Lantern/John Stewart - Common.
Aquaman/Arthur from Atlantis - Santiago Cabrera.
Martian Manhunter/J'onn J'onzz - Hugh Keays-Byrne.
Maxwell Lord - Jay Baruchel.
Talia Al Ghul - Teresa Palmer.
Iris Allen - Zoe Kazan.
Alfred Pennyworth - Stephen Tobolowsky.

Actually, this was the cast

Batman = Armie Hammer
Superman = D.J. Cotrona
Wonder Woman = Megan Gale
Flash/Barry Allen = Adam Brody
Flash/Wally West = Anton Yelchin
Green Lantern = Common
Aquaman = Santiago Cabrera
Martian Manhunter = Hugh Keays-Byrne
Maxwell Lord = Jay Baruchel
Talia al Ghul = Teresa Palmer
Ahh that's it...I was going off the top of my head...thanks mate

Has anyone noticed that Jamie Alexander is actually wearing what looks to be a Wonder Woman-like wristband in the picture above? :ww:

Also, thanks to all who posted the JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL cast! One really quick question, though:

I've heard conflicting reports about which Flash Adam Brody was going to portray. Some stated he'd be Barry, while others stated that he'd be Wally. Also, isn't it kind of odd that if Yelchin was going to be Wally, that he really wouldn't be that much younger than Adam Brody's Barry Allen?

So, I did a little internet research and discovered that Anton Yelchin was supposedly "in talks" early on to take on the role of Wally West, but it eventually went to Adam Brody. If that is in fact the case, who was going to play Barry Allen??

It would be my hope that if WB was going to do an ensemble movie before the rest of the solo films come out, that they would use Barry Allen as The Flash.

Brody was going to be Barry Allen.

Yelchin was cast as Wally.

Yelchin and Common were actually kept on for the project that would replace JLM, Terminator Salvation.

In JLM, the central story focuses on Barry dying and Wally replacing him.

I'd have liked to see that but the casting is all wrong. You need a young actor that his face and body can mature to a man's. Yelchin is like Kristen Bell. Unless you want a perma-teen Wally, he's all wrong.

Also, Wally is supposed to be the funny one and yet Barry was being a buffoon throughout the whole thing.

Also, Speedforce sex.

^ Yelchin looks very mature in Fright Night.

Also, I don't mind Speed Force Sex.

I actually think that Anton Yelchin would have made a really good Wally West. In all the roles that I have seen him in, he has convincingly combined a youthful demeanor and a certain sense of maturity that I think really adds to the quality of the characters that he portrays. Even in TERMINATOR SALVATION, where most of the acting was as stiff as the machines they were fighting, I felt that Yelchin was the best performance in the movie.

It was Alpha Dog that really drew my attention to him and the more that I think about it, the more that I really could have seen him in the role of Wally West; a kid with a huge responsibility handed to him by someone that he looked up to more than anyone. If played right, it could have been a really emotionally engaging moment when Wally put that suit on for the first time. Yelchin totally could have pulled it off.

My JLA cast based on the new Jim Lee line-up...

If WB / DC are really keeping this JLA as a separate entity from the solo Batman and Superman movies, I doubt that they will keep GL (with Ryan Reynolds as separate thing, it is likely that they will start a united DC Universe with all the superheroes with Ryan Reynolds as GL - Hal Jordan. Though they will most likely introduce Jon Stewart in this as GL and keep Hal in it too.)

Mathew Bomer as Batman - good choice.

Megan Gale as WW - Umm.. I would rather have Adrianne Palicki she proved in the pilot that she can look like WW and act (according to reviews.)

Superman -get Brandon Routh, unless they can manage to find someone better.

Wonder Woman got pretty bad reviews from what I read, it was a complete joke.

Matthew Bomer? Eh...I can't seriously buy him as a dark, brooding intimidating character like Batman. I've seen most of White Collar and Chuck.

IMO they are bound to use Ryan Reynolds and Cavill IF their respective films are hits.... whether they are is yet to be seen.

WW TV series might not have got good reviews, but most were of the opinion that Adrianne Palicki was good in the role.

Matthew Bomer is a good actor he can do dark roles, remember that before batman '89 Keaton used to do comic roles, but he was still a good Batman.

I think after Bale, you need a similar actor to continue the same level of quality.

Keaton was great, but that was a different time and different interpretation. IMO it's too risky for Warners to go with a completely polar and unconventional choice for Batman anymore. They have a billion dollar franchise on their hands.

Heck, they're even playing it safe by having Nolan 'godfather' Batman IV as a producer.

I'm not being prejudice because Bomer's gay, but I can't really see him believably pulling off a character this dark. At least not from what I've seen. It would be like Clooney again.

I agree.

I was thinking of Batman's role in the Justice League, and I have come to the conclusion he either needs to stay at the headquarters and/or join his comrades in battle in a limited fashion, or he needs some sort of Iron Man-esque armor or something if he is going to actually be able to contribute to fistfights with enemies that can tango with the other members of the Justice League, like Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Green Lantern.
Don't get me wrong, Batman is a very valuable member of the team, especially when one considers his strategic capabilities and his intelligence, but as far as close combat on-the-ground with Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Green Lantern, with his standard equipment, he can't do much. He wouldn't be able to keep up with the rest of the League and he would likely be in need of rescue. He's the physically weakest of the bunch. He can't run as fast as the Flash, or lift as much as Superman, or create constructs with his mind like Green Lantern. I know that is a part of his appeal as a character (to me as well), but I really don't want him to be the guy that gets himself in danger that one his teammates then has to stop and drop whatever they are doing so they can go rescue him before he dies, or surviving by plot contrivances. Strategic thinking is very useful, but that's something that he can do from headquarters, much like a US Army general in real life.
Thoughts?
