But it's not... remember, everybody that knew his identity has simply forgotten... it's lame, but believable, and as far as continuity goes, Marvel seems to be going the extra mile to show that the rest of the Marvel U is still connected to Spider-Man... like in the recent ASM Extra #1, there's a comment about how Spidey helped DareDevil (Matt Murdoch) back in DareDevil vol. 2 #20 to 25... as well as the recent memory of meeting Vermin during Kraven's Last Hunt...
The connections with the past are making the books even more fun to me now...

Oh i didn't mean ignore everything of course.

to me it's easier to read if I don't acknowledge the era of the marriage and civil war. Those are the things that really hurt my head when I try to piece together all of the issues.
to me BND picks up just after the supposed marriage that didn't happen. I know that's kind of lame...but it makes BND enjoyable to me once I don't acknowledge what came before it and i accept it as is....

there are some issues that kind of drive me away for a while though...like Bob gale's issues...his last arc was ok though.
