Nah. Electro's powers are still new then.
There are 2 scenes. Not one.
we don't know either way yet

They wrote the 2 treks, I'd say they are in good hands...
I almost cried. Because I was like, ‘This is what we’ve needed and this is what we were missing a little bit in the first one.’ I just felt this warm rain of reassurance rushing through my soul. I was like, ‘Ok, we’re fine.’ If we mess up, it’s my fault now
Hmm... "I guess when Kirsten and I do the twist?" Franco clearly hated the movie. Same with Tobey and Kirsten. I think Topher Grace was a little bit more excited about being in a Spider-Man film, so it was hard to tell whether or not he enjoyed his first viewing of the movie.Haha especially Franco when asked which scene was his favourite!
I don't know why but there's something about Topher Grace that I don't like haha! He's really funny in That 70's Show but in interviews, he seems almost scary to me haha.
Kirsten Dunst however, as miscast as she was, she seems like a very cool and honest person. If I remember correctly she openly said later on that she thought the film was bad and apologised for it or something.

I loved Eric Foreman on That 70s Show. However, I haven't really seen him in anything else that I really like.
I feel like Franco is a little pretentious, and is sort of a jerk in real life, but I guess I do appreciate his honesty. Sam Raimi seems to be a little bit more humble, and I'm glad he really liked TASM.Yeah! I think that was his first big blockbuster movie, so that's probably why.
By the way, I like Franco's honesty too. I actually like that he openly said he didn't enjoy TASM and thought it was a rehash, even though I don't agree with his opinion.

Based on what reports we've heard and got from the Times Square shoot in April, where Max was stumbling through the crowd (in pain), I think its safe to say he has only had his powers for a short time.
yeah, i agree. but, that doesn't mean there won't be a fight scene then. electro could attack like a wounded animal, for example.
basically, i'm saying that him being in pain etc does not logically prevent a fight scene.
we don't know for certain whether or not there will be two scenes in times square. not saying you're wrong, just saying your certainty/deduction of two separate scenes is not justified.
not having a go, just yea![]()
I think there will be an altercation between Spidey and Electro there, similar to TSSM where the 2 have an altercation after Electro inadvertently has an outburst, and spidey attacks him thinking he's a criminal.
In the movie, that leading to him being taken into Ravencroft/Oscorp custody.
And then later, we see them in Times Square again, when they have the first part of the final battle.
But I can see your point. However, based on the descriptions of him flying during their TS battle, I just don't think its likely its just one scene, considering he probably had barely used his powers in the scene we saw filmed in April.
Agreed. So far they've done an excellent job with the Star Trek movies by capturing the spirit of the classic series and pretty much all of the characters, along with some cool sci-fi, drama, and action. Hope they do to Spider-Man what they did to Star Trek and breath fresh new air into the franchise. One of the things that makes me so much more excited for this one than it's predecessor is that it has the Fringe (Kurtzman/Orci were the creators, Pinkner was the showrunner for the first four seasons) team handling the writing side of things. That show blended science fiction, character drama and a sense of humor together so well, I can only hope the same holds true for this movie.
the thing they will truly deliver is the Spidey humor, mark my words
I have repeated this many times, but I'll say it again. Transformers 2 was written during the writer's strike, so it suffered quite a lot.Yeah, but the humor in TF2 was terrible. It depends on the director. I'd say the humor in TASM was bland, so I'm hoping Webb and the writer duo get it right this time.

If Orci and Kurtzman do for Spider-Man what they did for Star Trek, then the movie will be great.
