All the Transformers movies had vintage Michael Bay "humor".

I actually thought the first Transformers was funny.

Michael Bay obviously had a huge influence on the scripts. From what I understand, Orci/Kurtzman really did not want to write T2, but it took a lot to convince them to change their minds.

Its really a shame that they are known for the first two transformers movies. People often use that to "prove" how terrible they are. Now they they wrote two successful Star Trek movies, and will hopefully create yet another success with TASM2, they can redeem themselves. How many people have complimented the script so far?

Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Marc Webb, Shailene Woodley... anyone else? Of course I take these compliments with a grain of salt, since the people working on a film want to promote it.

I think what got me is when Andrew said TASM2's script has a lot of stuff that was missing from the first. When someone admits the flaws of the previous entry, that does say something.

I truly believe Andrew when he says the script is "very, very good." He's a passionate individual based on his demeanor and dialogue in interviews. Him expressing his relief or excitement about the script is coming from an honest place imo and isn't just a 'let me try and sell this movie' pitch.

For Andrew to say the script had a perfect balance between Spidey's humor and the heart of Peter Parker, that came off really good.

I can say one thing. The movie will have hilarious moments. Orci and Kurtzman write some nice humor.

They are also both responsible for Sleepy Hollow, so they can be hit or miss.

Andrew showed a lot of enthusiasm, and Shailene Woodley said this is an amazing script
There is obviously more promise than actors reaction to watching Spider-Man 3

I love Legend of Zorro, think it's underrated, and lots of fun, even what should be cringe moments are entertaining
Star Trek movies are lots of fun, and are really good
Mission Impossible 3 is alright, I'm not a fan of the series
Didn't watch the other 2 under bad

Sleepy Hollow and Star Trek (new series) are excellent, so I eagerly await this film.

Seriously, Spidey is going to have some great quips this time around. These guys are funny.

According to Webb's CC interview, they roundtabled ideas/dialogue for quips with some well-known comedians. Patton Oswalt is rumored to be one of them. If true, that was a great idea imo.

I hope they don't make the villains know who he is in this movie, or his face, that became really tiresome after 4 movies in a row, 4 out of 6 villains knowing are understandable (Sandman and Lizard didn't need to know)
I hope the jokes are really good on Spidey

Something amusing to point at:
Raimi produced Hercules the Legendary Journeys, and Xena: Warrior Princess
These two wrote for these shows
Raimi directs Spider-Man movies
Now these guys write Spider-Man, though not with Raimi

I don't think Rhino will know who Spider-Man really is, at least not in this movie. Electro will probably find out towards the end considering he will most likely be teaming up with Harry or have some Oscorp connections. Green Goblin is pretty obvious though.

Rhino and Electro have no need to know who Spider-man is. That would be awful in my book.

Rhino definitely wouldn't need to know who Spider-Man really is (at least in this movie). Electro will probably find out by the end of the movie, but it only makes sense for him to discover his identity if he is connected to the Osborns.

Which according to the SDCC trailer,
he is.
