it's pretty much the reason why I was excited for Rudd to be in it. it's hard to make a cat burglar likable. better to cast a nice guy. I'm very interested in Pym's "demeanor." I wonder what he'll be like. they said that his ego is different from Stark's.

in all fairness i could understand their disappointment...except it's Michael F****** Douglas. that guy, in and out of role, is 100 times cooler than Pym. this is trading up. Pym has basically sacrificed youth for respectability. and he still has potential to be youthful in flashbacks/cameo. i would have prefered him to join the Avengers as Giant-Man, though.

Yes. A few years ago, Douglas had cancer. We know who won that battle.

actually, it wouldn't surprise me (at all) if there is some reference made to One Direction. in one of Rudd's interviews, he spoke proudly of peppering his movies with musical references. and Cassie would, realistically, be a One Direction fan.

you never know. I can't even guess at the tone of the movie. but it's Disney. so there probably won't be any shanking or prison sex. yet they have to portray Scott as someone who can handle himself in a physical confrontation. you can take one look at Paul Rudd and suspect that he wouldn't have it easy in prison. he's an inevitable target.
