I'm definitely seeing this movie on its OW.

ModernMythMedia.com's Sean Gerber tweeted his thoughts:

I'm glad that the movie is getting some positive first reviews after having some troubles getting production started. I just hope it does well with the fans and has some good WOM.

I'm seeing it on the 15th July in Australia, that makes it 2 days earlier in US?

My local cinema chain has a deal for Ant-Man with a 3D ticket, poster, Funko Pop figure and a popcorn combo for 50 bucks. Great deal.

Haven't seen any tweets about Cross yet. Hope this doesn't mean yet another subpar villain.

Yeah I was hoping for more tweets about the visuals and Cross.

I don't know everything about Ant-Man but don't his abilities come from the Pym Particles themselves and not from the suit? Because they're making it look like he gets the size altering power from just the suit and not the particles. Unless they just haven't mentioned it yet.

Director Peyton Reed explained it

“In some ways it’s the particles and the suit is a delivery system for that. the suit has sort of a regulator on it that regulates the amount of Pym Particle that goes through. So Pym is calculated exactly how much of that particle is to be released to shrink down to the size of Ant-Man and also to grow back to normal size. So it is a distribution system. We were very strict about how that works. But as you see the movie, there are other devices that come into play regarding the Pym Particle.”

Yeah I noticed that Scott Lang could control the ants even when he's not wearing the suit. I mean the scene where 3 ants spin a coin while Lang is sitting in the car in his casual attire. Is that what it's supposed to mean?
Hank Pym controls ants with his earpiece so perhaps Lang is doing so as well.

Someone tweeted that Cross was one of their top five Marvel villains. They said he was funny and threatening.

Guys..sorry for being slightly off topic...I am looking to get an official one sheet poster for ant-man. There are only 2 official one sheet poster.

1. Teaser poster with a tiny shrunken ant man in a big white space.

2. The blue final poster which show the whole suit and most of the characters

advice needed pls :)

Really happy to see people are diggin the movie! I cant wait for July 17th!

Can't wait to be there at the Thur night premier! This film is going to rock, I love the time we live in as a Marvel fan

Re: end credits scenes:
Is the one with Bucky in it true or not? I've been seeing a LOT of Bucky fans on tumblr who are saying they are going to see this movie only because of that end credit scene with Bucky in it, and they're going to be pretty sore if it turns out it's not true. I've seen conflicting reports.

Sheesh, why are people more interested in the post-credits scene than the actual movie?

Guys some advice needed :)

An article on Comicbook.com with Kevin Feige, suggests wasp will appear in Antman in some form or another. He says, "We have plans for her in the future, and we see that not-so-subtly in this film [Ant-Man]." Link below.

Personally, I think there will be a flashback of Janet Van Dyne being the Wasp and Hank Pym being Ant-man in say the 60's before Scott Lang takes up the mantle of Ant-man for the current day iteration of the character. At that point it will be pretty much Scott Lang's Ant-man throughout the entire movie, with Hope Van Dyne eventually taking up her mothers persona of the Wasp at the end of the movie. However, to avoid having 2 smaller characters with similar powers moving forward. I think when Civil War roles around Hank Pym will figure out how to reverse the process of shrinking down Ant-man and will make him Giant-man, and I think Marvel will mostly use him in that capacity from that point forward and Wasp will be the one that continues to shrink moving forward. This is not to suggest they might not have moments of Scott going from Giant-man down to Ant-man size, or back again, but just that I think once they make him Giant-man I think they will focus more on him being large and vice versa for Wasp with her being small. At least that is how I see it.

Pretty sad if that's the only reason you'll see a movie, but some people on tumblr are pretty sad so it makes sense.

What can Marvel do to convince people that Ant Man is interesting and worth a watch. The action looks amazing and it will be incredibly funny.

Surfer

That bit in bold was confirmed in the set reports from a week or so back.

So [BLACKOUT]Anthony Mackie[/BLACKOUT] is in here? I don't think any of us knew anything about that.

There was a rumour about it a while back - no idea where it started, though - but I'm not sure anybody ever thought too much of it.
