I thought he and Hawkeye kind of hated each other.
This gif begs to differ:

Hoping we get some news soon, been pretty quite on the Marvel front as of late

What story was that?I guess that was in one the stories where everyone was just dog piling Pym just because.
I'm expecting a whole slew of announcements from Marvel Studios after the season finale of Agents of SHIELD airs, perhaps by the end of this week.
Marvels continued history of Ant-Man feature

People laugh about the controlling ants power but I don't see the big difference between swarming people with ants and swarming people with bats like Batman did in Begins.
i don't really see the ants as a weapon anyways. they are great for transportation or locating things. but, if you're going to attack someone with bugs, why not go with bees (like Scott did to that guy who kidnapped Cassie)?
Scott and Hank usually use them as a distraction but there is 22,000 varieties of ants including venomous ants. Just last month Bolivian villagers used venomous ants to torture two alleged thieves for days. The pair almost died from kidney failure.

There is no reason why they can't use species beyond the average harmless garden variety. I could picture Pym in particular keeping various varieties of Ant colonies in a lab to study.
Is ant-man's helmet restricted to communicating with only ants and other insects or can be talk to spiders and other creatures
Well Edgar was talking nano tech back in the day so it could be cool to see some miniaturized machines.
Ant Man just got a free plug on Saturday Night Live

I think this has a lot of potential. I find it interesting that they say it's gonna be a heist movie. This really is such a cool idea and it opens up a whole another world for adventures, one need only watch any kind of story involving small-scale sized characters in a normal scale sized world. I think I read somewhere that they almost made this in the '80s but Honey I Shrunk the Kids hit first so they shelved the idea. Thinking back to HISTK, remember the lawnmower scene? Imagine an action set piece involving a scale sized battle a top a moving mower, it could evoke Indiana Jones/James Bond style action yet be something we really haven't seen before. Think something like the tank battle in The Last Crusade but atop a giant-scale lawnmower. Lots of seemingly mundane everything items, machines, and settings can become all new stages for some pretty imaginative action set pieces, say for instance something in an office or perhaps a kitchen? Hopefully they get creative with that sorta stuff.
Hopefully there is news this week.
You worked with Edgar Wright on Scott Pilgrim and The World’s End, and the visuals for both of those films were just brilliant. Next, you’re shooting Ant-Man for him. Do you know what camera you’re going to use for that?
POPE: Ant-Man will be shot on film with the Panavision cameras. We’ve shot all of his movies on film. He likes it. I like it. I feel more transported. Interestingly, because it’s not as crisp and all-seeing as digital, I’m actually transported by the graphicness of it into the imagery, emotionally. It’s hard for me to explain why I like film, but that’s the best I can come up with.
Do you think there will ever be a point when everything is only shot on digital, or will there be people who still always use film?
POPE: I think there are people that will shoot it forever. It won’t go away. It’s like vinyl, in that sense. It’s also becoming a prestige thing. There’s a whole generation that thinks of it as a prestige format. I’m glad to see that.
Is there anything you can say to tease what you’re going to do with Ant-Man?
POPE: I think that my non-disclosure agreement with Marvel is pretty darn concrete. There’s something in there about being put in a stockade, and being drawn and quartered.
