The official "Batman" comic book thread

Mediocore, but Tony Daniel and Andy Kubert stole the show easily with their art.

So what did everyone think of Batman #700?
I loved it. Its one of my all time favourites. So in bullet points:

Things i liked:
1) Many artists, each working on a different era.
2) A story involving all three of Morrison's Batmen.
3) Dick one upping Damian and teaching him to use his brain more and his fists less.
4) DamianBats.
5) Past era inspired by the Adam West show and the old comics.
6) The way Morrison uses the story to show Batman's timelessness.
7) That panel with Dick and Damian at the coffee shop! D'awww!
8) Two-Face 2!!!
9) Damianbats cheating again by using Brothereye. He brought the rain! :awesome:

Things i didnt like:
1) Morrison is a god when it comes to metatext, but emotion? Not really. I liked how all three Batmen shared a case, but i would have liked a more personal and emotional story linking them. That would have made the story great for me.
2) The art that concludes Quitely's unfinished era. It was pretty horrible.
3) Damian training Terry. Bruce says that the Professor's device shows possible futures, not the definitive future, but even so old Damian just isnt old Bruce. If old Bruce is a cold sob, i imagine old Damian being the devil! It just isnt the same.

All in all, a very good issue.
