Mr. Freeze has more heart and compassion than some of you guys.![]()

Don't you go around slamming "Batman Forever", now. That's my favorite of the original bunch. The delivery on most of the dialogue is ridiculous.
Batman Forever was guilty of this too, but B&R just took it to a whole other level.

I think Schwarzenegger's main problem was having too many ice-related jokes. Most of them were funny, but some weren't needed for the story to work. I like Mr. Freeze's story, because its not "I'm evil and I love it". Beneath all the hate and loneliness is a well-meaning scientist and loving husband, who simply wants to cure his wife of a terrible disease.

I'm not slamming it, I love BF, but you can't deny that it had some rather questionable dialogue.
The bulk of the film was far too campy; I didn't really take Poison Ivy, Bane, or Clooney's version of Batman seriously at all. Freeze had a really good backstory, even though some of the ice-related puns were lame.
I really enjoyed the screen chemistry between Chris & Alicia; she made a great Batgirl. I was a little disappointed they severed her relationship to Gordon, but I understand why. Her fight with Ivy was way too short, but had some cool moves.
Michael Gough was great as always, and his scenes with Clooney were the only moments in the film where I really enjoyed the latter's performance. One of the film's most powerful lines is in that moment...
"I've spent my life trying to beat back death...but I can't, can I?"
On the whole, I don't blame Schumacher nearly as much as WB, but I do wish all involved had waited for Kilmer. Bane wasn't even needed for the film, and I still want a version of Ivy that's more in line with the 1990s animated series.
