Broner V Maidana could be a cracker. I don't like Broner trying to be a mini Floyd but the boy does have talent.

Rumour is Floyd is about to announce his next opponent soon for May and word is it's Amir Khan who was supposed to be fighting Devon Alexander this month for the IBF Welterweight title but called it off.

And NO fighter is the same after a knock out like that.

Roberto Duran did OK after getting murdered by Tommy Hearns. Wlad Klitschko has had a damn good career after getting destroyed on three separate occasions. Not to mention all the innumerable golden age pros who were great yet suffered plenty of KO losses. It's part of the job.

So this is a silly statement to make. Basically, you're just remembering that this is what happened to Roy Jones. Manny will be fine.

Too much emphasis on maintaining the 0 nowadays. So what if you get beat? It just means that the guy was better than you on the night regardless if he has the same talent as you. Go and avenge the defeats like a class boxer would do.

If a guy is undefeated, how can he avenge a loss?

And I hope you are not blaming Mayweather for the fight not happening now. Arum clearly said he would have Manny and Paq fight in April, knowing darn well Mayweather already has May 5th already set aside. It amazes me how Arum tries to use Mayweather's name to sell his fights knowing full well he has no plans on them fighting. The last fight he says only had 500,000 buys meaning it really has 300,000. His China experiment failed like I knew it would now Manny is fighting in Vegas again in April. Arum is the scum of the earth. I hope Manny has enough sense to leave this guy because he's being robbed blind!

Oh sorry I was just thinking out loud there. Ignore me.:woot:

Arum is the worst now god how i hate that guy. Pacman has to pay of a few big debts as well and he's helping the Philippines after the troubles they've had lately.

You can't help but love Manny but it's his freakin management that makes him look so bad. Arum is clearly the stumbling block here but yet you have people blaming both Manny and Mayweather. I still don't understand why Manny would resign with this guy.............other than a few payday loans Arum has been rumored to give to Manny.

Good grief Lara is boring as ever. Now he's callung out Canelo? Lmao, if he's as good as he thinks he is why not call out Mayweather? He's a joke.

Speaking of jokes, Dirrell really thinks he deserved the win? Lol, he deserved what he got, especially for that bs 12th round and that running he did at the end.

Good wins by Malignaggi and Kirkland.

Rigandoux is still boring and put me to sleep.

Lara is boring but that was a good win against Trout. Rumour is that he could be one of Mayweather's last fights. Canelo V Cotto is close to being finalised apparently.

Didn't think Porter would beat Alexander and Zab should call it quits now.

Rigandoux is still boring and put me to sleep.

Guess I gotta be "that guy" again, but I love Rigondeaux. Even though he's not the most aggressive boxer, there's a coiled intensity to him, reminds me of Jermain Taylor in that sense. And obviously he's a brilliant tactician and that's basically the type of boxers I like to watch.

I still think his fight with Donaire was entertaining though, he dismantled him and made him hesitant and reluctant to throw anything. Sometimes I like that more than the KO, its like that Hov line, to make someone die bleeding is nothing, if you make them die breathing now you saying something...

- Pac being broke ain't true.

- Bradley ain't knocking Pac out. Pac beat him the last time. Every boxing fan knows this.

- Broner struggled in his last fight. Now he's knocking out Pac?

- Pac didn't show any ill effects from the knockout in the Rios fight.

- I agree 100 percent that Arum is f%$& up, but not yet in Don King's level.

- Yes, Mayweather would be a favorite if he and Pac and fights, and would probably win in a UD.

- Sheesh Docker, your hatred of Pacquiao is really getting scary.

I remember you saying this. Not to stir old things up but he's being robbed blind and he is close to being broke. It's the worst kept secret in boxing that he's broke and why he went back to Arum. Here's also something that was confirmed by TMZ.

http://fighthype.com/news/article15750.html Anyone who can't see Arum for the devil he is doesn't want to see it and poor Paq is going to end up broke in 10 years.

Erislandy Lara might be my favorite active fighter. Brilliant technician. He made Austin Trout (who is a nightmarish match-up for most) look like an amateur.

The WBC have made Pacman the #1 contender for the WBC welterweight title. Jose Suliman couldn't make it more obvious how desperate he is for a fight. So Pacman loses to Marquez and Bradley beats Rios and now he's #1 contender.

Mayweather quote on his next fight. "If it's Pacquiao, it's Pacquiao"

Could happen.

Well if this tax thing doesn't open up his eyes so he can leave Bob arum so then he can finally fight Mayweather, nothing will. I can't believe how blind he's being.

Rumor is Paq is saying screw Arum and is trying to make the Mayweather fight himself. It's about time.

That fight should have been made 4 years ago, just so stupid it wasn't made back then.

Still feel this fight will never be made, and I at this point I really don't care anymore.

I agree but let's be real, if they announce that fight in May or Sept, who here isn't going to watch it? I think Mayweather is in a lose-lose situation. If he beats him, it's because he waited to late but if he loses, he loses his 0.

Basically. But I still hope he does it just to have that notch under his belt. Uninformed and misguided fans might feel Paq could've beat him a couple years ago, but anyone with common sense should be able to see the chasm that exists between these two. It's been a huge one from day one. I actually would give him a better shot now, based off the Rios fight. He was a little more cautious and defensive minded, not so wild with his punches.

That article you linked does pose a good question though, how is it that Manny can be a congressman but so hands off in the dealings and machinations of his boxing career?

That's what I don't get. How is it that Manny can run parts of his country but can't run part of his boxing career? He seems to blindly follow Arum and Mayweather has warned this guy for years about Arum!

I also want to know where all these people are who was saying no way is Paq broke when I said he was and was basically called a liar for stating boxing's worst kept secret. It amazes me how blind people are to Paq, no matter what happens. I like him but when it comes to his boxing career, there are so many glares it's not even funny. But as soon as you question it, you are labelled a Paq hater. :whatever:

Yeah Pacman is broke he owes up to $60m in taxes to the US and Philippines. He took out a loan to help folks in his country after the latest disaster to hit the area and he even said that.

Oh yeah I would watch it, but I would not pay for it.

Streaming for sure. :woot:

Soto-Karass rocked Thurman in the first round but great come back by Thurman.
