He has. He's looking to move up and I think he's gonna need to work on some things or he's gonna be in trouble.
De la hoya/Trinidad all over again. Garcia was outclassed, Lamont won easily. I can't think of 3 rounds I could give Danny, smh...
This was no where near as bad as DLH/Trinidad. Peterson ran all night. Ran more than Lara did against Canelo.
This was Canelo/Lara where people think the runner won the fight. Peterson didn't come on strong until the 9th.
They both need to avoid the Argentine boogeymen, Maidana kills both of them and Matthysse sons Peterson again.
If he was running all night then why did Garcia's face look like that? He was moving and jabbing and outpointing him until the middle of the fight. Then he started walking him down and sitting on his punches. Either way he won almost every round with both strategies and Danny looked like he knew he lost until he heard different.
I think Danny won just based on activity for the first half of the fight. Lamont did little to nothing. If he started like that from the start, he would have knocked Danny out.De la hoya/Trinidad all over again. Garcia was outclassed, Lamont won easily. Because when he started landing late, it was great. He just started way too late.If he was running all night then why did Garcia's face look like that? Either way he won almost every round with both strategies and Danny looked like he knew he lost until he heard different.
That said it all.Is that why the crowd was booing and didn't get any rounds in the unofficial scorecards until late in the fight?
He was moving and moving but not doing much else until late in the fight when he started sitting down on his punches.
Either way no way does he beat Matthysse or Maidana. And the way Garcia has been looking lately, Maidana crushes him and Matthysse takes the rematch.
How low would you rate Pacquiao's chances then? That's putting it lightly!![]()
How low would you rate Pacquiao's chances then?
Honestly? 10% and that's only a puncher's chance. Paq is TAILOR made for Mayweather IMHO. He's a glorified brawler who leaves himself open all night. Plus Paq isn't helping himself by fighting inferior competition like Algeri and Rios. I don't think this fight will be close at all honestly.
Oh right, didn't know it was expected to be that one sided. You expect Mayweather to win on points? That's the most common bet I'm seeing. And if the fight had taken place when both were at their peaks how would you have rated their chances (if you don't mind)? Thanks.
And I think this is ridiculous. Floyd has looked a lot slower the last couple of years and Manny can still hustle. I fully expect Floyd to win, but it is far from a sure thing.Honestly? 10% and that's only a puncher's chance. Paq is TAILOR made for Mayweather IMHO. At their peaks? 60/40 Manny, only because I think Manny was on PED's. I think the Vegas odds are a lot closer because as you know Pactards and Flomos are like Bloods and Crips but I really don't see it being that close at all.

Both men have lost stanima. Floyd has lost more foot speed, which is why he has started standing and trading more in the pocket. He is so good with the shoulder roll he makes it work, but he doesn't do it on purpose. It is also why against someone like Canelo he flat out ran at times.Wait! You think Floyd slowed down more than Manny?! I never said Floyd didn't slow down but Manny has slowed down super quick.............ever since those PED questions came up. Again, Manny makes TONS of mistakes and is so predictable it's not even funny. And I still think him fighting weak opposition is going to hurt him more than anything. And IMHO I gave Manny a puncher's chance but that's it. Sorry, I don't see Manny having any chance. Maidana is a hits a lot harder than Manny and he couldn't take Floyd out and I just don't see Manny doing it. Counter punchers has always been Manny's kryptonite and we saw what happened when JMM knocked Manny TFO. His mom can do all the voodoo ringside all she wants but I don't see Manny pulling this out.
Manny is even more wreckless now. Both men have lost stanima. Floyd has lost more foot speed, which is why he has started standing and trading more in the pocket. As to counter punchers, JMM and Floyd are very different in that regard. Yes, they are both counter punchers, but do it very differently. And comparisons to Maidana are useless, because Manny moves faster. A lot faster. Floyd hasn't wanted this fight because Manny is different. He has never fought anyone like him before, and that is a problem with Floyd. JMM is the best boxer he ever fought, but he was also not ready for the weightclass and the perfect style matchup for Floyd. This will be different and will most certainly not be easy.
I have always picked Floyd, but I would have preferred he took this a few years ago, when he was more mobile and athletic. Manny was too, but stupid judges judge activity more then anything, and we have seen Floyd lose scorecards because of that BS in the past. A few years back, Many would have been super reckless, before he got put to sleep.
I still stand by what I said a couple of month's ago. Floyd to win by UD but survives a few scares.
Manny's descent from his peak has been quicker than Floyd's.
I hope it's a lot more even anyway if it's going to live up to billing as one of the biggest super-fights in recent memory. Just wish it had happened a few years ago. I want Pacquiao to win but I also don't want Mayweather to lose his unbeaten record right at the end of his career when he is no longer at his best.
Floyd's a much better boxer, Manny has been the better athlete by a bit. It is why his descent has been so much more obvious. But if you have watched Floyd his entire career, you realize how much he has slowed down physically.I still stand by what I said a couple of month's ago. Floyd to win by UD but survives a few scares.

Do you not remember anything anyone else says on here? I have said plenty of times I thought Manny juiced. I fully believe Manny was on PEDS, same for Floyd, so it is irrelevant to me. What matters is that a few years back Floyd had more potential workrate. I don't care about Manny condition, because what Floyd needs to do has never changed in this fight.Manny is even more wreckless now.I honestly think the biggest hold up to this fight was 1)Arum and 2)Floyd honestly believed Manny was on PED's. Come on! You can't tell me a dude who got KO'd in like the 128 lb weight class could go up and beat the breaks off of Cotto and Margarito(who was probably cheating when he fought Manny)but Manny was able to take his punches and seemed to want to come at him harder. Then the scared of needles excuse but yet has tattoos...........You can't honestly tell me that you don't have some questions raised. It screams suspension to me! I like Manny, heck my wife is a Pinay but where there's smoke there tends to be fire.
Floyd will have to work hard down the stretch in the late rounds, because workrate counts with Manny. How many BS cards has Floyd had the last 7 years? Someone gave Canelo an even scorecard.I think in the early rounds, Manny will have a flurry that will appear to hurt Floyd but after the 4th round, Floyd is going to embarrass him. The thing is, when you call it how you see it, people tend to call you a Flomo, even though I think Floyd outside of the ring is an arrogant jerk but you can't deny the dude in the ring. I'm not going to let his outside activity sway me into just betting on Manny when I can see all the mistakes Manny makes. Sorry but I just don't see this being close at all.
Haha. I look forward to Batman vs Zod in a few weeks time. I hope Manny is prepping!Tons of people I know are rooting for Manny, but if you look at it from the outside, Manny really only has a puncher's chance. It's like Batman vs Superman. Yeah Batman seems to be the most human of them but come on! If Superman REALLY wanted to beat him, he would. Notice you don't see Batman going up against Zod. A guy with the same powers and doesn't hold back. Just saying.
This is just not true. Manny used to be a glorified brawler, but a glorified brawler doesn't move the way he does or throws from those angles that he does. He are trying to hard, which is exactly why you are called a Floyd fanboy.Manny is a glorified brawler! His offense is his defense which is not good. Floyd may play with him more than he did Canelo.
Yep. When he sits back, it is so obvious. Still has fantastic defense and head movement, which makes up for it. He is so skilled.Agree with your point's Floyd is slower than a few years ago it's noticeable. his footwork aint as quick as it used to be.

Manny is not more reckless. Manny has simply fought guys with no power in his last few fights. Manny/Marquez 4 was Manny trying to stop a guy after being tagged so bad, he fell on his ass. Marquez finally got to Manny, and it worked beautifully.
