Broner is gonna end up punch drunk. The only thing he does more then talk is get hit.

Broner shows potential, he just doesn't throw enough punches and his defense sucks. He gets hit at will, he has no stamina, and lack of punches will be his downfall. If he ever gets in the ring with Lucas Matthysee................it ain't going to be pretty for Adrian.

Beyond him trying to emulate Floyd's defense without the necessary craft to go along with it, his main issue is certainly conditioning. He could just stand there getting hit by lesser competition & still win, but ever since I saw him against Paulie I knew he wasn't ready.

Conditioning is one thing you can't compensate for, you either put in that work or you don't. I'm actually surprised his jaw hasn't been consistently broken by the way he holds his mouth open after 2 rounds...

Lol at you defending your hero like that.

If they had secuity video of Fraud assaulting those women like Rice, I'm sure y'all would find an excuse on why he did that.
I don't think I've heard anyone defend Floyd concerning his domestic abuse charges. You are the only one who constantly brings it up. That's what judges and lawyers get paid for.

I actually thought his jaw was broken on Saturday. He holds his mouth open way to often and if he gets hit at the right angle by the right punch, then it will be. Maybe it didn't heal from the Maidana fight but it was blatant this past Saturday.

Interestingly enough, I heard a poster say on another website say that they believe that he fights to the level of the opponent. He never took Paulie serious, though he could have lost, and if he was to fight Lucas Mattyhsee, he'd take him a lot more serious and would come out the better fighter. I don't know if that is true or not but there maybe some truth to that. I also know with his mouth, he brings out the best in guys like a Maidana because he clearly crosses the line with his comments. He goes way overboard playing the villian role.

This doesn't really have much to do with boxing persay but I found this amusing:

Mike Tyson swears at TV presenter over rape conviction question/comment

I'll not link the YT video of it as I got an infraction the last time I linked something similar, but it isn't hard to find yourself if you've not seen it.

I'd love to know just how bad the presenter soiled himself when Tyson swore a couple of times, was then told by the presenter that they were doing live TV & Tyson replied with "so what, what are you gonna do about it?", because even at 48 years old, Mike Tyson isn't the type of person you would want to piss off.

So Mayweather vs Maidana II tomorrow. Going with another UD for Floyd. The last one was convincing enough this one won't be any different.

Y'know, for all media s***storm that Mayweather has created for defending Ray Rice, I must admit something. Mayweather is one hell of a promoter. I guess all publicity really is good publicity. You now have a good chunk of people wanted to see Maidana beat the hell out of Mayweather. More buys. More $$$.

And Mayweather is definitely winning tomorrow. I'm going to predict unanimous decision as well.

I'm actually going to predict a KO in the 9th round. Going out on a limb. I think the ref gets involved and won't let Maidana fight as dirty as he did in the past, making Maidana have to box and he gets KO'd. I'm calling it!

I'd like to see Mayweather go for the KO. But I'm more likely to get struck by lightning tomorrow. It's just not his MO.

I don't think he was looking for a KO against Hatton or Ortiz either (however that came about is besides the point) but as wild as Marcos is, he'll always leave himself open to get caught with something.

I don't think Floyd could knock him out, but I can see him dropping Maidana once. And it's not as if he's some monstrous person, he's been on his can plenty of times. I think if Floyd keeps it in the center of the ring, he could definitely catch him with a check hook, he grazed him with a couple in the last fight, it just wasn't flush. It's hard to time someone so unorthodox and sloppy as Maidana.

Floyd can drop anyone at 147. The question is if he is willing to risk it. Going for the knockout is a riskier strategy. It would mean leaving himself open more, by standing in the pocket and throwing more punches. The way Maidana punches, I don't think he will risk it. I think he will move even more then before, stay off the ropes, and throw that straight right hand like crazy.

Not planning on watching this farce especially because of Mayweather's diva demands, the judges in his back pocket and the rumors that Bayless is also in his back pocket. Even playing field my ass Fraud is doing everything he can to keep that '0'.

Like I said before, he can punch women with his bare hands, but doesn't want to get hit with NSAC approved punchers gloves. Pillow gloves doe.

Boring UD win for Fraud. Healf comes furst doe. TMT TBE.

Btw, I knew that scumbag would come to the defense of Ray Rice.

Wouldn't expect any other response from you.

Floyd is going to KO him tonight. Broner hurt Maidana around the 8th or 9th round and had he threw more, he probably could have knocked him out. Floyd is way more accurate and if Maidana is forced to box..............I don't see it going 12 rounds.

Broner didn't hurt sh-! Wtf fight were you watching? Maidana dropped Broner in round 8, then Broner rolled around when Maidana head butt him. Round 9 Broner ran for dear life.

Broner didn't come close to hurting Maidana, let alone knock him out, Maidana made Broner call him daddy from the opening bell. He was never in any danger.

Fraud is going to prance his way to a boring UD. Maidana has never been stopped all of his loses have been by decision, and Fraud hasn't had a KO since Hatton (Ortiz sucker punch don't count) now all of a sudden Fraud stops him?

Maidana was hurt more the once, especially late. Though I believe that was an illegal blow.

That undercard is a farce a swell. Leo Santa Cruz is decent I suppose.

When it comes to boxing, you can not be impartial at all. You either love or hate a guy 100%. I can't stand Broner but to say he never hurt Maidana is BS. It was late in the fight but I haven't seen that fight in a minute and can't remember what round but I believe it was the 8th.

I'm not sure if it was an illegal blow. The problem with Broner is he doesn't throw enough punches. He could have came back and won that Maidana fight if he would have thrown more and talked less. His stamina sucks.

It does suck. This is one of the worst undercards I've ever seen, especially from Mayweather who normally does produce on those. You have to wonder why Broner and Mattyhsee didn't wait a week and fight on Mayweather's card. I don't know how true the rumors are about Haymon and Shaffer purposely tanking with boxing matches just to make Golden Boy Promotions look bad but they are really doing so.

Go rewatch the 8th. Maidana dropped Broner, then Broner was holding on to Maidana and got headbutted under his chin. There was never any point in that round where Maidana was hurt.

And there was never a point in any time of that fight where Broner came close to hurting, stopping, dropping or doing any sort of damage to Maidana. None!

Maidana sonned him from opening bell to the last bell.

I'll give Broner credit though, atleast he has balls enough to let Maidana wear his preferred gloves and not cry about it one night before the fight.

Edit.

Again, Sheafer has nothing to do with this undercard. Its all Al Haymon. He's not trying to sabotage GBPs. Tell me why he would? To elevate his guys? Lol! All the TMT guys have gotten exposed, so ofcourse Haymon will want to protect them. Ask J'Leon Love, they're not going to be putting him with anyone decent for a looong time.

And besides, TMT fight cards suck in general even without Golden Boy. After this fight if they don't deal with GBP, they're F'd. Guarantee.

Cotto/Canelo on Cinco de Mayo weekend will do better than Floyd vs anyone not named Pacquiao.

Just as I expected, Floyd was gonna move more, stay off the ropes and just outbox him to show how easy he could make it when he wants to. But I'm sure his haters are gonna cry that he was "running" or scared. Please, this was just another master class, plain and simple...

Huge Floyd fan thought he whooped him badly as I expected, but I thought ref should have let them work out of those clinches.

That was expected.... Floyd fought his fight and showed what he can easily do. Whose next?

Terrible card
Terrible main event
Terrible ref

Floyd fight very well, slick, fast, accurate. Maidana did not deserve a rematch in the first place

The way things are shaping up maybe there is truth to the feeling that Al Haymon is just another crook within the boxing world

That was even easier then I thought it was gonna be. Giving Marcos more then 1, maybe 2 rounds is ridiculous.

Now I know Floyd just gave those 5 rounds to Maidana in the first fight. That was masterful. My idol in the ring, but he disgusts me outside of it.

Floyd started too slow in the first fight. He didn't hurt Maidana early, thuse Maidana kept working. Floyd made Maidana work a lot early, hit him well and hurt Marcos at the end of the 4th. Marcos was never the same after that. Couldn't even press Floyd to the ropes anymore.
