Like GGG, Kovalev is going to get the recognition, big money and adoration from the U.S. fans, more than Ward will ever dream of. And why? Because of their style and willingness to fight anywhere. You think Ward will ever uproot, move his whole family thousands of miles and fight in different parts of that country for peanuts? Maybe his stance is changing a bit man.

Stevenson will fight some dude in December. His manager is in negotiations with Jean Pascal's team for a fight in Montreal in the spring. So what would be the second semi final if you think Kovalev/Hopkins was the first one. Those 4 guys are probably the top 4 of the 175lb division currently.

I at least hope a guy who go's by the nickname "Superman" has some balls.

Jean Pascal is not legit and he probably won't even fight him anyways. There is one name at 175 and it is Kovalev. They were suppose to fight, and he ran scared. He avoids all questions about Kovalev. He is scared.

Never said I didn't. I prefer American fighters and boxers rather than brawlers. Ward, Mayweather, Lara, those are boxers. Heck I'd even consider Canelo a boxer. I like GGG but I don't like the media push that he is getting as the most feared man in boxing when he isn't. I like Kovalev but like Hopkins more. I'd like for Kovalev to beat Stevenson. I have my favorites but I can also admit faults of my favorites like Ward ruining his career and Mayweather "giving the people what they want" and he hasn't. Unlike some people who bash and can't see anything due to pure 100% grade A hatred.

He does not have balls. It amazes me how brave he is to call out certain fighters but as soon as Kovalev's name is mentioned he starts to stutter. Remember his last fight? I thought he was having a seizure when they mentioned Kovalev's name.

Most guys who come here for boxing do it secondary to improving their & their family's lifestyle from a ****** Country. If America had zero opportunities, then yeah, anybody would be willing to risk life and limb to better their situation somewhere else, I don't think it's as deep as you're trying to make it. I've been saying time and again, if ANY of these imaginary fights materialize, Ward would be willing to travel to get it done.

Just as much as people can sit here and say nobody wants to fight GGG or Kovalev, the fact is there's been a lot of reluctance to fight Ward too. He is obviously very particular. He only did that smw tournament under he does not have to fight in Europe. He's going to move up and fight Kovalev, yeah right. Ward didn't even want to go to Canada and fight Bute. He had Froch do that, and after Froch beat him, he and his fans wanted to take credit for that win.

Talking about people who DO want to fight, the Canelo/Cotto fight is in preliminary negotiations. Which means Canelo is close to rightfully taking back the Mexican holidays. I hope Algieri pulls off the improbable upset on the 22nd so there could really be no Pac/Mayweather fight in May. As that would be the only fight that would bump Canelo/Cotto.
