The problem is what you are explaining is just wrong. Like on what planet is the heavyweight division the most relevant? Have you just missed the money guys like Floyd, Oscar, Manny and Canelo have been making the last decade? Wlad can't even get on on PPV.But Tyson made his debut about 5 years before Lewis. So they both couldn't have fought in the late 80's as that's when Lewis was just starting out. They are both of that era. The likes of Tyson, Lewis, Holyifield, Bowe, McCall etc.
And the Heavyweight division is still THE division in terms of the average boxing fan.

It is irrelevant what era Tyson and Lewis were from, because when they fight Tyson was 10 years, a biting incident, and prison term away from his best.
