i am still happy that there was one studio that made a big budget movie that was not first for the GPCase in point...Watchmen.
i think they are happy that they are the studio that made teh watchmen movie. Not sure if WB is all that happy about it. They will when the DVDs finally hit.
Has anybody bought the TV rights yet?

if they are not happy with the numbers then **** again their own fault.
again there is a formula to make a movie for the masses. you dont experiement . you just use the formula.
I'm sure it will be FX.
Can't disagree with that.Look, I am a big Trekkie. Without wanting to alienate the core fan base myself, I'll say it's a group you want to have close and be open to at all times. But if you make a good movie that's entertaining, a lot of hard-core fans will see the movie anyway. That audience will still appreciate it.
It's too bad that he didn't make a good movie.I don't want to take any importance away from the fanboys, but it's about making a good movie and then marketing the hell out of it. If you do that, the fans will come up to meet you.
Next time, close out the porn you have open before posting a comment on here.![]()

Ha.
He made a movie for the Donner fanbase without realizing there wasn't one...
there are plenty of donner fanbases. just that most of them don't appreciate his twisted/wicked interpetation.
There is not enough to reach out to at this point. He felt the general public's collective recognition of the character was based in the Donnerverse when it wasn't. Do you think there are little boys with posters of Christopher Reeve in their room at this point? No.
looks to me that SR made the donner fanboys go away. because if i remember very good months before SR people were very happy that it was connected with the donner movies

I agree. He should have realized that and went with something more recent like DCAU or something.
lol You are wrong my dear but we still love you.So you think little kids have posters on their walls of that version of Superman?![]()
The Donner Superman is still the most popular and recognizable version of the character there is to the masses. Going by the BO and reviews, I think they liked the film enough to warrant an action-packed sequel featuring a new supervillain. Done right and marketed well, like Singer says, I'm pretty sure it'd have done better business than SR. But that's me. Now, everyone tell me how wrong I am. lol
