People denying what? This started long ago in the GL threads. They took it's failure like a spoiled sport and started trashing on Thor and how they thought Cap would turn out. Fact.

Some did I remember. I also remember one GL fan breaking down and shouting that he wanted Cap to fail because of said discussions at which point everyone called him out on being so forth coming.

I say people denying it in light of the current situation. I'm not surprised that there is fan bickering, I'm only ever surprised when people claim they're not doing it.

I personally can't wait to see the movie this weekend, the TV spots sold me. I do unfortunate fear that between Marvel and Joe Johnston that things like the action and ideas will be serviceable at best.

Irony?
It was an honest question.
OK, if you say so. Because it kind of looked like you were rubbing Transformers 3's "ridiculous money" in the faces of those who said the first two TF films were "terrible", and then gloating about TF3 setting a record for reaching the half illion mark. Silly me for thinking that.

I wish io9.com would put up a review. Those guys are generally on the mark because they are fans like us but tell it like it is.

RT Consensus:

"With plenty of pulpy action, a pleasantly retro vibe, and a handful of fine performances, Captain America is solidly old-fashioned blockbuster entertainment."

30 fresh, 15 rotten

Late every time :woot:

It seems stuck at 67% despite them adding more reviews, hopefully it will break free and climb above 70%.:yay:

How many reviews do they need before it reaches what they consider a consensus on the bar they have?

Yet once again showing that Marvel Studios doesn't make crap movies.....PERIOD.

They've made 5 films in a row and NONE OF THEM are rotten.

Once again, you have put it perfectly :woot:
Marvel Studios is arguably one of the best things Marvel has ever done ever.
But once again, I still think WB is fudging the numbers even though they're going up. By now shouldn't it be at like an 80%?

I just want it to stay fresh.
Fresh is considered fresh regardless of percentage on a site like boxofficeprophets.com.
And it seems like it might stay fresh, unless there are just a gaggle of negative reviews ready to hit (I hope not).

Well perhaps not 80 %, but it seems like it should be at least slightly above 70%. I would love to see 80% though, so lets keep hoping.:yay:

The one I posted is underneath the bar, so they usually put up a consensus after they feel that it won't budge significantly higher or lower than the number presented (67%). However, it will still go up or down until all the reviews are added. It will most likely stay fresh, though.

I have a strong feeling it will reach 70% once all is said and done. :)

Either way, Godman got owned lol.

Is he trash talking cap or something?

Lol no, but today was proof that his statement about how once a film is rotten, it can never be fresh was proven wrong today.

Looks like it may settle in the 70's. It will be Certified Fresh if and when it nets a 75%. With over 40 Fresh reviews, and 5 being from Top Critics which it already has.

But there's only 45 reviews lmao. There's going to be so many more!

Oh that's right I remember that haha.
But he does make a good point, that rarely if ever happens. Every single movie I've seen usually starts way up high and then drops as time goes on.
Just more proof that WB's up to something sticky...:awesome:
