i hope not. i'm so tired of seeing that man's face everywhere. he needs to take a vacation an do a small drama or something.

although i'd actually like to see the previous cast brought back, and sort of just ignore the whole kid thing, here's me throwing out some ideas

jimmy olsen: jacob davich

and i'd really like to see stanley tucci, either as perry white or lex luthor. the guy is gifted.

It's gotta be Jon Hamm, Carla Gugino, and Stanley Tucci as Superman, Lois, and Lex.

Oh, and Paddy Considine for Zod (since it seems he's the big bad of the film).

I'd also love to see Victor Garber (Alias) as Perry White and Dan Byrd (Easy A) as Jimmy Olsen.

Okay, here's a cast that accommodates Hamm way better. I know you're all going to complain that they're too old but whatever I don't care.

Oh wow nice casting! I may change my casting from Jennifer Connelly to Carla Gugino. I think that guy is perfect for Jimmy. He's the right age and has the right vibe about him.

Not if you do Jimmy the way he's supposed to be done. See All Star Superman or any awesome Jimmy Olsen comic from the 50s-60s.

On the other hand, he did play like the smallest role in terms of screentime in Star Trek. Maybe he could do Jimmy.

How about Teddy Sears as Superman? He's 6'3, 33 years old, has a good build and natural blue eyes. All they have to do is dye his hair black.

I've been hoping for Hamm since Mad Men started, but I'm beginning to think he's got a real shot. Think about it. Snyder isn't going to hire a youngster for the role, he's already said that Superman needs to be a man, not a boy. He also has the tendency to work with actors on multiple occasions, like Stephen McHattie and Gerard Butler. Jon Hamm just played the villain for him in Sucker Punch! Same thing goes for Gugino!

I like Hammer as Superman. He looks the age i want him to be. Hamm (that everyone keeps suggesting) looks too old. This is not going to be a veteran Superman.

I like Hammer as supes and I think Gerard Butler as Zod could be interesting. He has the accent that's for sure if we go by smallville zod lol.

But in all seriousness Jude Law would be better as Zod. he would also be a good Brainiac. But I heard he turned down Zod in SR which is why the character was written out. Gerard Butler is a fine actor, but he liek Clive Owen and Jason Statham cant get rid of their accents fully
