Anyway, yeah I get the feeling we're getting closer and closer to the end of this thread's lifeline. Regardless, this is where I first heard of Cavill, amongst fans! Way before he was cast. So yeah, it's a great thread.

I definitely think Bomer has a decent look but I was never a fan of his height and his acting ability.

What I like about this Superman is that... for the first time in a long time people are actually DEFINING THE ACTOR AS MASCULINE. In the past, with Routh and Welling, it was 'That ain't Superman... It's SUPERBOY!' And the gay-jokes were old too, but very present

What's even more fun is that... back in '06 I was watching 300 and going "couldn't they give Superman a cape like THAT?!" Lo how the times change.

i remember when 300 was out how a lot of fans said that Snyder should direct superman only because of the red cape.

now its happening.
