The Official "Cerebro Door Intro" Thread

Forget about the fate of Cyclops...

Forget about the handling of the Phoenix Saga...

Forget about the "is he or isn't he?" regarding the involvement of Gambit in X-Men: The Last Stand

The single most important subject of debate on this movie was whether or not the Cerebro Door introduction would be used. And it was!

But tell me... I'm not the only one who noticed the slight difference, am I?

X-Men and X2 go through the "blue" of the door... in X-Men: The Last Stand, it's just clear into the scene. No blue.

But whatever, that's the nitpickiest of all nitpicks.

Actually, more than the Cerebro Door entrance, I liked the CGI intro as a whole. There was no monologue like X-Men or X2, but it works. X2 ended with Jean's monologue, which was the same exact monologue from X-Men... so the monologues kinda came full circle. So instead, we set up the movie through flashbacks. Then a bad ass CGI intro, and the ****ING CEREBRO DOOR *****!!!

Oh, and the Marvel logo! We finally got our own "X-Men" Marvel logo! The Hulk got one. The Punisher got one. Fantastic 4 got one. And now we got one

Yeah, the X-Men Marvel logo was the best out of the Marvel logos so far, IMO...

I liked the new intro for the film, but I still would've preferred SOME narration or monologue near the beginning (X1/X2) or near the end (X2)...Oh well..

I was SO HAPPY when I saw the Cerebro doors. One of the best things, IMO. Oh, and the DNA/Cure sequence was amazingly done.

I hadn't noticed it before, but they DID leave out the monologue! I know it's a small thing, but they should have had it simply to keep the continuity together.
