Batman, thanks a bunch. I hope she's in the film personally.
Edgar Wright is officially confirmed as director?

Batman said:Really, the only characters confirmed are Pym and Lang. Though with Pym being the first to don the Ant-Man suit, the possibility of Janet appearing as his assistant first or wife, isn't completely out of thought. Even if there hasn't been any news on whether or not she'll appear or become Wasp.
Yeah. That would seem logical. Even though she doesn't really need to be Wasp in the Ant-Man film, if she does make an appearence. She can just be introduced as Pym's current girlfriend. Or, for that time, his assistant. Then save her for an even larger role in the Avengers film.Muze said:they'll likely save her for the Avengers live-action movie. what would be the point of including the Wasp when they are only covering Pym and Lang's origins? i don't see one.![]()
Pym will be a hero from the sixties in the movie version and Lang will be a modern hero that found/stole Pym's work (most likely after Pym is already dead) so if Wasp is to be in any futur movie, she'll habe to be Langs gf or nobodiesBatman said:Yeah. this doesn't bother me too much, Lang was always cooler than Pym..... he was a wife-beating dick anyway
Im sure the details will clear up in time, but it would be nice to have Giant-Man/Yellowjacket in the Avengers movie as wellMuze said:i can guarantee that Pym won't be deceased. he still has to appear in the Avengers movie, alongside Jan. besides that, Wright seemed to be basing it off of the second Ant-man's origin story. Pym was following Lang in that story, to see what he'd do with the Ant-Man costume.

Batman said:What exactly do you need them for?
To a certain degree, the picture makes Aaron Eckhart come to mind.Hank Pym said:Well, turns out I'm making my own Ant-Man project. And I needed a good view of the suit at first, and one of Pym to get some casting ideas for him. Y'know, to get the brain working.t:
Hey, does the picture of Hank remind of any actor at all?
Thx manMuze said:LOL! nice work on that preview poster. the second pic you posted is my favorite Ant-Man costume. it's very simple looking but has (imo) the best helmet; makes him look smart, hi-tech, and insectoid. Stuart Immonen did a great job on that design. damn. why'd they have to kill Lang. he was a second-stringer but he was "born" to be Ant-Man. i can understand why people growing up with Pym as Ant-Man would prefer that. but Hank long outgrew that role. he (imo) was "born" to be GiAnt-Man, if forced into a costumed role, or (ideally) the role of Henry Pym Scientific Adventurer. but everything about Scott Lang was, literally, created to be Ant-Man. even this new guy, as much as i enjoy the book, is just a poseur wearing some fancy armor.

Lol, Is this who those Lang-Haters want as Ant-Man???
Oh well, hey do you know of any graphic novels that have some awsome Lang Ant-Man action??? I can't find any good ones....
CaptainCanada said:I'm still not sure this property has much chance of being a real success, but once you get past the decision to greenlight, Marvel's doing a good job in getting a cult director like Wright, whose name will get people interested. Like I said, I'm dubious about the financial prospects, but I see a strong likelihood that this will end up the true cult film of the 2000s superhero era.
Plus, as a huge Young Avengers fan, I'd love to see pre-superhero Cassie.
Yup, just look at how good the SM movies were and they were aimed at a generaly younger croundMuze said:i think the movie would do fine if they aimed it at a younger crowd.
